@@joel.ha. it's for measuring small distances quickly, you don't need to go into too much specifics when you're just eyeballing something. If you want that then get a tape measure

Yoooo, when I was younger, I deadass enjoyed finding sets of numbers that could complete an entire series like this. I did it when I was bored on my phone but never realized there was a real implementation of this thing. Maybe I do got autism.

But... The highest you can measure with it is up to 13, and the highest it is marked is 13, so there is no advantage to not just marking all the numbers. There is no point.

I noticed a trick if you forget how many centimeters are between each space.. Take this for example : The space between 10 and 6 is 4 cm 10 - 6 = 4. What about the space between 13 and 2? 13 - 2 = 11. The distence between is 11 cm. So on and so forth.

Thing is rulers have 2 main purposes, and one is helping you make a straight line.. but I find it interesting for kids using rulers for the first time to think how to get every measurement from 1 to 10 and practice the use of it.
