I think the AG should have stated some of the possible ways that the bill could be a charge on the consolidated fund apart from the costs of the education he cited because i think that, that cost is not relevant(incremental) in this matter. I think that maybe we should make some amendment to the Article 108 because we cannot just accept anything as a people because it will prevent us from receiving aid or money from other countries

I am sure that is the cost the AG is referring to otherwise he should tell us. I stand to be corrected but I feel he is representing the opportunity cost of receiving aid with the cost of education which make his argument unfair. I think both parties made their points clearly. But we can only leave the final decision in the hands of the court

With 15 SC judges appointed by Nans Addo and they wanting to appoint 5 more , how can you trust such people? Even the CJ couldn't define a citizen.All this is just a movie script they are playing out.-with reference to AG's misconduct in the AG vrs Jakpa scandal.

I think the office of the A-G should be distinct from the office of the minister of justice . These offices collectively entrusted in one person, cannot promote justice.

If this court upheld the injunction, then they have ursurp the powers of Parliament. A process where the president has not accented the bill, how then can you presume that the president will sign when the attorney General is the advisor.

If your father set up a legacy for u but states that u can only access it on reaching a certain age. Unless and untill u attain that age u have no business accessing the legacy. You dont get to say that u should be allowed to access it then at the point of spending it ur mother can prevent u from doing so.

Where the constitution or ßatute requires an action to be done on the fulfillment of condition precedents, then untill and unless those conditions precedent are fulfilled, any action taken is void and of no effect.

AG is getting it all wrong. If a charge on the consolidated fund can only by the President, the question is on whose behalf does the president exercise that responsibility? AG should be mindful the consolidated fund is created with the peoples taxes and the president is elected to disburse it on their behalf. The peoples parliament has spoken and the president need to listen.
