OMG! A true, actual Pentatonix virgin! There are so few of you left, I love to see your journey from "ok, let's see this" to "OH MY F***ING GOD" in a few short videos. You've now seen Superfruit which is 2/5 of Pentatonix. Mitch and Scott along with Kirstin form the "trio" -- the main singing part of PTX. Avi brings a killer bass line and K.O. does impossible beatboxing to complete the band. Yes, band. Even though they don't use traditional instruments, you won't find their music lacking in any way. In fact, pretty soon you just forget there aren't any instruments and never look back. Kevin occasionally breaks out a cello and once in awhile they collab with someone like Lindsay Stirling who brings her violin. But 99% of their music is done with no accompaniment at all. Which is one major difference from the Superfruit videos you have already seen. Where to go next? I recommend Daft Punk by Pentatonix because it is one of the videos that scored them a Grammy award. Their "medleys" are amazing because they sing a complicated arrangement of 10-30 songs with no breaks or takes. The Beyonce Medley and Michael Jackson Medley are two of the very best. They sing covers which some prefer over the original artists, such as Royals, No, or If I Ever Fall In Love. Last, they have original songs which span a range of styles such as Sing, Can't Sleep Love, and Run To You. Buckle up for the grand adventure -- you will be changed by the end! P.S. Since you're a hip-hop fan, don't miss the Superfruit "Hip-Hop Goes Broadway" 1 and 2. Be sure you watch even after the end theme -- they do outtakes at the very end of the video. They are hilarious. The more hip-hop you know the funnier than are.

Mitch's head voice/falsetto is crazy good, his voice is so angelic to me. Scott...what can you say the dude is talented.👏👏

So glad you're enjoying them, just subscribed! We love a pentaholic/superfruit fan in the making :D I'd definitely recommend Superfruit's first original song/music video 'Bad 4 Us'. And as for their band Pentatonix, their cover of Cheerleader is one of my favorites! The guy in the yellow shirt is Scott, and like you mentioned he has a super versatile voice. He has a great lower range (he even takes over for bass sometimes in their group Pentatonix when their actual bass is singing lead) but he also has a great falsetto and just a really amazing voice in general. Mitch is the one with purple hair (uses both he/him and she/her pronouns, in case you get confused) although right now it's back to black and really short. Mitch can go amazingly high--his range is crazy (around 5 octaves, similar to mariah carey or ariana grande). They often refer to her as the 'tenor, alto, and soprano' of the group. As a little background info, Scott and Mitch are best friends since age 10 (along with Kirstin from Pentatonix). Superfruit is their side channel - their main priority is their a capella band Pentatonix. They've only been around for around 5 years and already have 2 grammy awards and a ton of high charting albums (including one that debuted at #1 on the billboard charts, and one that has gone double platinum). This is probably more info than you even care to know, but us Pentaholics love reaction videos and we like to inform people of any questions they might have about them.

Mitch's (purple hair) voice just holds you hostage. That isn't even close to his high notes he can hit. Pentatonix or Superfruit never ever disappoint. I love it when u realize what they can do!! I've been with them since the Sing Off which was 2011 and they are part of Pentatonix!! Glad u discovered them!! They have so much music now whatever u want to react too! They also have three Xmas albums! Anything is fine with me.
