Spotted myself in this video. At around 03.10, I’m the mixed race kid milling through the crowd in the lower left quadrant of the screen. That was a month after I had turned 15 years old. I’m 58 now.

I was at the ANL carnival in 1978 and still have those beliefs and principles. Not all middle-aged people are right-wing 'gammon'. Generally, the punk rock generation had no time for racism and still doesn't.

Jesus TV has become so dumbed down, an opiate for the masses. This was a refreshing reminder of an audience being treated as if theyre intelligent

I went on an anti Nazi rally in the late 70's as a punk I agreed with the principles but I went mainly for the bands in Victoria park Bethnal green London and it was great fun.
