Sure you have been asked many times. Looking to find a local orthodox church in UK (not too many) as local Anglican church won't let me in without following silly CV rules.

Is there a book solely dedicated to explaining how to do hermeneutics using an Orthodox Christian perspective? Not so much a specialized analysis of certain texts, but moreso the fundamental starting block and methods. I'm not classically educated or presently a college student.

When talking about the (spirit of the) Antichrist in the other verses in1 john and 2 john John seems to be talking about the gnostic heretic false teachers who didnt believe Jesus to have come in de flesh (but only in spirit since gnostic believed flesh wasn't holy). So there seems to be a distinction between the antichrist (gnostics) and the beast (nero) the lawless one (john levi from Josephus) and the Prince of Daniel 9 (Jesus). What do the church fathers say about the antichrist and the beast? Is there a distinction?

Jay, concerning what you explain starting @ 34:14, are there any books you can recommend that expound on The Apocalypse being the Orthodox Liturgy? Aside from an article from J Gospel Net entitled "Worship in the Book of Revelation and the Eastern Orthodox Liturgy", I wasn't able to find anything. The vast majority of search results deal with why Revelation isn't canonical and read during liturgy. Thanks.

If it is destined, as the Bible seems to tell us, that THE anti-Christ and a long period of hellish darkness come upon us, maybe it's best to just forget about trying to affect the course the world is taking, and recede into some sheltered space and just focus on the daily spiritual living? Like, if it's destiny, you can't fight it, right? - why bother trying? I've put a lot of time and energy into informing and alerting people about Agenda 2030 and the many and various evils and iniquities of the global deep state and its various mini-anti-christ agents. Not I'm reconsidering it all. Been a fan of your work for years, and consider it part of my education. .

The characteristics of the 'Little Horn/Antichrist,' can be pulled directly from Daniel 7. Many, many, titles held by men share many of these characteristics, but there is only one title/office that fits every single one of them. The Bishop of Rome, aka the Pope. If we go back and look at who the pioneers of the Protestant Reformation, we find that though they were in conflict on many points of doctrine, they were all concise and clear on this one doctrinal and present truth. And if you look the early churches roots, we find that Origen and Teurtullian, along with many other teachers at that time, they too identified the Antichrist manifested in this person.

Coming from a protestant background But I'll admit, the more I listen to the Orthodox perspectives on scripture, the more I've been able to understand biblical concepts better with a healthier frame of reference that isn't open to vague subjectivity unlike the ocean of self proclaimed experts on their one individual interpretations of scripture. As someone whos recently converted, who wants to know the Lord, His Word, His Gospel, His Church, and what it means to stay on the straight and narrow path in practical terms instead of vaguely saying in circular terms "just stop sinning brah", christian KZfaq is a psychosis inducing hell of uncertainty and confusion. I just want to find that literal God ordained reference so I can know that I'm right with the Lord in His eyes, im tired of vague ambiguities and subjectivities amongst prideful myopic men.

I don't understand how you can read Gentry and Chilton and still believe that there will be an anti-christ figure at the end of time. I am exploring orthodoxy but it seems like post-millennialism has the best interpretation of eschatology, and would exclude having an anti-christ in the future as the gospel is victorious.
