For crescent city i HIGHLY recommend watching cari can read synopsis videos of the books after reading! the plot gets really complicated and complex but it’s a great series! she makes it much easier to understand if you get confused with all the different characters! The videos are so long but i eat it up

My recommendation for reading the Shadowhunter Chronicles: City of Bones City of Ashes City of Glass Clockwork Angel Clockwork Prince Clockwork Princess City of Fallen Angels City of Lost Souls City of Heavenly Fire You need to finish the Infernal Devices (clockwork series) before the Mortal Instruments (City of Series) because otherwise you will be spoiled. Those are all of the books that I’ve read thus far, but there are more books after that. But these two series are where to start.

The Invisible Life of Addie Larue is the first book I read this year and I think it's my favorite book of the year (I read like 105 books this year) !!!! ❤It's definitely my favorite stand alone ! I think about it every day it was sooo good ! The Lunar Chronicles is also my favorite serie of the year (Winter is my favorite from the serie) with the Shadowhunters universe too (I read The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices) !! Can't wait to see you read all these books :)) ❤

In 'Stalking Jack the Ripper' the main character (Audrey) has to find out who the killer is. She makes autopsies of the women that were killed by the ripper with her uncle and one of his students. You were right, they are interconnected and each one of the books is about a different killer. I loved all of them, hope u do too!

Zodiac academy, you follow twins. SOOOO good and the bully romance come so much latéral than the first book, you focus on the other romance (her twin) romance in majority for the first book. I so recommande it i read all of them in like à month, i was obsessed!

i think with REREADS you could pick one book each month 24:16 and read it at the beginning like your first book of the month so you’re not only getting a reread but also starting the month with a book you already know you’ll love so you’re not overwhelmed or feel like wasting time and you start a month on a good note

PLEASEEE read the invisible life of addie la rue. it shook me to my core and trust me i don’t like historical anything, but it has fantasy elements. She was cursed so that no one knows her name and she can’t say her name, and she’s immortal, until some day one person remembers her!!! so good 5/5 stars for me and i cried

I don’t keep up to date with book releases as I only got back into reading this year, but the one 2024 release I am anticipating for is the reappearance of rachel price by holly jackson. The AGGGTM trilogy slapped me in the face in the best way and it’s probably my favourite trilogy I have ever read. And then five survive was the biggest page turner so I can’t wait to become a new person once I read TRORP

Zodiac Academy is literally one of my favorite series. At first it is definitely heavy on bully but I promise it’s worth it! You get soo connected to the series it’s crazy I love the characters. I force myself to take breaks between the books. But definitely one of my all time favorite series!

Stalking Jack the Ripper is actually not at all like the Mindfuck series, and it’s very much a mystery/romance that follows historical murders within the series (Jack the Ripper, Dracula, Houdini and the White Chapel Murders) it’s set in a Victorian Timeline, and the romance blooms as the series goes on but it’s very much YA unlike the remainder of the author’s books. It tackles a lot of important themes It’s amazing (my fav series ever) but I think it’s important to go in with the proper expectations☺️

Zodiac Academy is not “good” but it’s sooooo entertaining! I read the first 3 books in 3 days & those books are long 😂 The first book is aggressively mid but the 2nd & 3rd book are the best in the series imo & the romantic drama is so toxic but I ate it up. They’re good for those days when you just want a no brainer, fun read.

Definitely read Shadowhunters!! The Infernal Devices series is my favorite out of all of them. I normally don’t like love triangles but Cassandra Clare writes it so so well

Since you are wanting to do a re-read of Dance of Thieves... I would recommend reading "The Remnant Chronicles" first. It's three books, that comes before the duology. Same world, but it's about the queens (who is over Kazi) life before becoming queen. Helps you understand the politics better and DOT & VOT gives major spoilers for the chronicles if you read it before!

I 100% agree. Dance of Thieves was a little confusing to me until I read the Remnant Chronicles. It made the entire world easier to understand.

Oh my god I LOVED House of Salt and Sorrows! There is actually a second book, House of Roots and Ruin, that came out this year, and there's one more coming in like 2026. You don't NEED to read both, they are completely separate plots, focusing on different sisters. However, I would strongly recommend reading both because I actually preferred the second one due to it's better pacing. Overall, they're fantastic and her atmospheric writing was insanely impressive in both.

raven hood series is one of my 6 star reads. I think about this series at least twice a week. Flock starts off kind of weird/crazy but the series as whole is amazing. Also thank you for all your videos their my comfort watches. Happy Holidays!
