Welcome to Antigua, one of the 2 major islands that make up the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Located in the heart of the Caribbean about a thousand miles east of Jamaica, this is a really special island. Hugged by 95 miles of superb coastline, 365 pink and white-sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and glorious weather, this is an island I’ve loved more each time I’ve visited.
I was kindly invited by the tourist board and Traverse Events, to spend a week at a gorgeous hotel called Blue Waters, whilst attending a number of activities, excursions and experiences. This is just a flavour of what you can expect in Antigua and Barbuda, so be sure to check the links below; maybe this will inspire your next Caribbean adventure! Feel your pain about being careful in the sunshine , this time last year I was having radiotherapy so being out last summer or even sunbathing was a big no no . This year I'm ok for only small amounts of time but always got to wear SPF on the treated area even under my clothes x

It’s weird how I don’t think I could do zip lining even in the uk and even though I have done a tandem skydive 🪂. If I were to travel to Caribbean I’d love to visit Guadeloupe as it’s location for death in paradise. But I’d want to learn to swim before I ever get to travel there x it’s all on my bucket list x
