The Hobbit! I had a copy of that same book! I know what you're thinking. Alas, it hasn't been seen for a long time. I can't remember what happened to it but I will never forget it as a great imaginative adventure which I have read twice. Next book: Uproar!

My dad gave me my own copy and years later also gave me his own copy he got when he was much younger (I like to think he's still young now, but this would've been back a few decades). I love the Hobbit!

Alice, I paused your video at 4s, and tried to translate the Latin inscription with my pidgin Latin (!). It looks to me from that as if this book is a 16th Century Latin translation of the first seven books of the Hebrew Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, (the Pentateuch of Moses) Joshua, Judges, & Ruth. Is that right? Can you tell us anything more about the book? Why the printer put these 7 books together in one volume? It is an unusual collection of books to my knowledge. Thanks.
