This is one of the saddest human invention. The beak is ivory, the feathers are humming birds, so to make this box, two types of animals were killed.

The card seems to be a card identifying the shop only - like for advertising. A certificate or a bill would have been welcomed instead. We can read Recu 10 000 fr. This can be an advance on the real price or for a reparation. No obvious direct relation between the card and the object presented .
