I had permission to ride & film this elevator. The person who showed me this elevator was very friendly, and I think they were actually aware of elevator enthusiasts and had come across elevator videos on KZfaq before!
This is a very old building, likely built in the 1890s-1900s. As far as I know, this elevator is a modernization or replacement of an even older elevator.
This elevator has a selective-collective controller. For some reason, this elevator is classified as a freight elevator by the state, but it has a passenger-style cab and no "this is not a passenger elevator" sign.
This building also has a freight elevator (which is constant pressure, if I remember correctly), but sadly, it was out of service at the time and I wasn't able to see it.
