I was feeling so uninspired and rather down before finding that you'd uploaded a new video this morning. What a godsend this was, and it absolutely tended to my weary soul. Jeri, there's just a magic spell that only you are able to cast. Your unique way of sharing with us the simple things that you love, while teaching and showing us that we can love them too, is a gentle reminder to appreciate "it all". The way you nurture everything...and have such respect for the "story" and purpose in each of the objects you use, collect, or re-imagine is so refreshing in our current climate. I see the value that you place in being a good steward of the natural world, and it brings light into the shadows, for sure. Thank you for bringing such enriching videos into our lives!

Hi Jeri! I have been checking each day for a new video so was thrilled to see one today! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these and for including us as your guests! Your table looks so fun with all the cabbage dishes and your new corn dish. Does your husband sit down and eat with you after the video is over? The bird feeding station is something! That little yellow finch wasn't going to share was he? How do you keep the grackles away? I've been having trouble with them eating everything! The snow is so pretty, we had snow here in mid Missouri today too. Sending hugs!

Hi Jeri. I love When you share your antiques & how you use them, my all time favorite types of videos. I feed the little cottontail bunnies in my neighborhood throughout the year. They are especially thankful in the winter when the grass dies. I started out feeding 1( he must of told all his friends) now, I go through approx. 50 lbs. of carrots every week to 10 days. I get such pleasure watching them eat. Makes me so happy when I hear them all crunching! Thank you for showing the birdies enjoying all the treats you made for them.

Never seen a yellow bowl like that. The little basket is from "Rickshaw". It was a basket company years back. I sold it for a while. Also love your bird feeding station. Great idea! Thanks for all the information you give. I always learn something from your video's. God bless.

Thankyou for the name of the basket... I've only been able to guess on the baskets, my time period seems a bit off.

Just loved the treasures that you found Jeri, especially the copper planter, mixing bowl and the corn casserole dish! Your bird feeding station is amazing and it looked so fun putting all those lovely treats together for them. I can’t wait to see all those bulbs in bloom in a few weeks, I’m sure they will make such a beautiful display! I will have to try your soup too, it looked delish and thank you for sharing! ❤️

It will be awhile for the tulips to bloom, but the paperwhites have already gotten nearly 10 inches tall!

What a delight watching your busy life. My poor husband fell off his ladder last year and broke his thumb and was unable to cover our fruit trees for our summer here in South Australia; so the birds have absolutely feasted on our apricots. I did manage to make him an apricot cobbler, apricot upside down cake, apricot loaf and apricot ice cream; but alas no jam. I too had a delightful day opportunity shopping with a friend and bought two English teacups, saucers and cake plates as well as green depression glassware - a small vase, dish and measuring cup. Although I’m having trouble finding a home for them as my china cupboard and trolley are quite full. As we go for a walk through the bush, our council (county) have roosting boxes tied to various Eucalyptus trees and it’s wonderful watching the various Galahs and Lorikeets chatter and squark; the Galahs can be especially loud. We just went to the movies and saw a new movie out called The Dry with Eric Bana. If you have a chance, please see it. It gives a very true depiction of our Australian bush and just how dry our country can be. Wishing you all the very best, kindest regards Karen 🌸🌺🍀

Very Interesting Karen, to see life in a completely different climate and wildlife. Poor husband, but at least you made him some tasty meals!

I like to read, but thanks to you I don't need to. We LOVE to watch birds, thank you for enduring the weather and for these demonstrations, especially the bulb plantings. Your style is perfect. Other youtuber's are good, but your channel is perfect.

If I may ask, what do you recommended, or use yourself, to record your gardening activities, chores or schedule? I'm always writing things down but I'm very disorganized.

I’ve read that birds won’t nest too close to a feeding station, maybe if the dove cote is placed elsewhere they’d use it. I think they don’t like other birds around their babies. What a great video and a real treat to see the birds enjoy their goodies. Thanks for sharing your productive day with us. Looking forward to seeing the bulbs come up! 🐦🌱🌱🌱💕.

I believe that's correct. I have another one on the other side of the house ( the squirrels were playing in it at the first of the video) they don't like one either... oh well.
