On the morning of October 7th, Israeli citizens faced a tragic and monstrous attack, the dimensions of which had not been seen nor imagined in its 75 years of existence. The massacre of Israeli civilians in the Gaza-border communities by Hamas and civilian accomplices-defined as the deadliest atrocity against Jews since the Holocaust-and the subsequent Israel-Hamas war resulted in an unprecedented increase in Jew hatred worldwide. Specifically, on campuses of elite universities across the United States and Europe, antisemitic and anti-Israel demonstrations have been widespread, creating an environment of fear among Jewish students. In this program, INSS researcher Adi Kantor sits down with Dr. Charles Asher Small, founding director of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP). Together they discuss the relationship between academia and antisemitism. Who is behind the mass antisemitic demonstrations on campuses? Who supports and funds them? What is the connection to Qatari money? And finally, what can be done to combat this rising hatred toward Jews?

I am not surprised that so much untisimism appears at universities and colleges. We have a past example from Germany. Untisimism was very popular among academia and German intellectuals. They joined the party in droves. These days the universities are the moral sewer of the US.

Dr Charles Small gave an excellent talk. He should address congress and the US taxpayers should take over the funding of ivy league universities. Then congress should appoint Aipac to check the ivy league universities to be compatability to Israeli universities.

2019, the ISGAP received a grant of US$1.3 million, to be distributed over three years, from the Israeli government.[1] In 2020, The Forward reported that almost 80% of the ISGAP's funding in 2018, totaling $445,000, had come from the government of Israel, income which the think tank did not divulge.[8]

Extremely shallow and simplistic ananysis. Reducing everything to antisemitism and Qatari money is avoiding the tough ideological challenge we're facing. A Russian speaker who made aaliyah just 2 years ago has a much better grasp of this than what I'm hearing in this conversation. We're in a bad spot if this is what passes for expertise now.

Dr Charles Small never mention of the main groups protesting, which is Jewish Voice For Peace or JVP. Why? Amnesia?
