Beautiful job. Only great guitarists can play that clean, not a single squeak!! Some think that is impossible, but you proved them wrong. It takes huge skill to do what you just accomplished! Bravo!

This is a nylon string guitar. That is why there are no squeaks.

only Karas' own zither could beat this - I bought this arrangement from Sheet Music Plus (through Evangelos Assimakopoulos' link above) - it will take a bit of time, but not impossible, as the sheet music is perfect

I searched all over for sheet or tabs for this and came up blank. Out of desperation, I finally made my own after hours and hours of watching Evangelos play the piece over and over again. I'm sure there are some mistakes, but what I have come up with is close enough that you can probably learn to play it without too much trouble. Beautiful playing in a nice arrangement for guitar. But there is something I miss: the bass tone when the progression goes to E. He instead plays the G.

@@verncook1490 Really? Better think before posting, Anton Karas' original composition is written for Zither, not guitar. Peter Ratzenbeck's tabs are for his own fingerstyle guitar arrangement, and Evangelos Assimakopoulos made just another arrangement.
