Antone White and his co-defendent Eric Hicks were both convicted almost 30 years ago and sentenced to life in federal prison without parole, under the old mandatory guidelines.
Recently released from prison, DC Blacks is granted the first interview from this native Washingtonian.

Growing up in the 70s and in the 80s we played sports at the rec center Police Boys Club, Jr hi and Elementary schools would open their gyms.We played neighbourhood sports everybody played football baseball basketball and pingpong bumper pool in the rec centers lil dudes timw was 3-6 big boys 7-10 it kept alotta kids ofthe streets… when I came home in 1998 after doing 6 years all those spots were closed down and the faces on the corner were younger and aome clearly weren't built for the streets that told me they didnt care about our kids that "they" included black folks like neighborhood leaders they sell out and allow the resources to be closed...

I met Antone White on first Street off Rhode Island Ave. by the red dragon Chinese carry out. Are used to get on from him. I do remember him always being a thorough dude. Matter fact even though I was Not affiliated with that mob, him and other cats around them was all actually good dudes unless you crossed them. It wasn’t on that slimy move.
