This masterpiece very much reminds me of the one day I spent in Venice. The first movement resenbles the busy afternoon when I arrived, with the boats and gondolas weaving a web of canals. The second is the peaceful evening, while some singers on the rivers still let you know that all is not asleep. The third movement is as delightful as the sunshine breaking the slightest of fogs on Canal Grande in the morning, announcing the arrival of another vibrant day.

This is the Very first form Concerto ever written. Vivaldi was the one that Started thie " soloist " style that remains untill now. The famous Fast-slow-Fast.

Are you sure this the early Vivaldi concerto?
@opus4rv4 ай бұрын
@@onyonableThis Concerto was definitely written between 1712 anf 1713. Vivaldi was already in his 30's when he wrote this so it's one of his "middle works" as he began composing and publishing in his early to mid 20's He was riding really high after his Opus 3 published works and these were more or less more mature in structural composition than his Opus3 and earlier sinfonías. This Concerto was composed from 2 earlier works he had, hence the 383a. He was ALWAYS takin pieces of works and joining them together to form an entire Concerto as he was also known to compose rather quickly.

Very well played. This concerto is actually not a very comfortable piece for the violin. Monica Huggett does it well also, with Mr. Hogwood.
