This is a reminder that Vivaldi died as a relatively unknown musician suddenly in the 1700s and it wasn’t until the 1930s that his music became mainstream. Meaning that Vivaldi wasn’t a household name until 8 generations after his death.
@levyloup-noe61873 жыл бұрын
During his lifetime, Vivaldi was popular in many countries throughout Europe, including France, but after his death his popularity dwindled. After the end of the Baroque period, Vivaldi's published concerti became relatively unknown, and were largely ignored. Even his most famous work, The Four Seasons, was unknown in its original edition during the Classical and Romantic periods.

Spring sounds more like the happy and carefree season, probably due to the flowers and the birds singing and all that wonderful stuff. This is such a beautiful piece. I especially love the part around 5:00. This piece has an entire underlying tone of summer love and all the ups and downs over the warm months Idk. I just love it

At first it was 8:10. But when I kept restarting it from the beginning and really listening to 1:18 till like 2:05, I mean damn that solo is juat if for me, can't get enough.

There was a time in my life that I used to listen the Four Seasons constantly. It is a masterpiece and has a very important place in my heart, I have cried many times listening to this great piece of art. Tears of emotion, hapinness and sorrow.

The four seasons of Vivaldi are a masterpiece. Summer and winter are the best!!!!

Listened to his entire full length Four Seasons while tripping once. You will see the meaning to music, feel the strokes of the fingers onto strings, and hear divinity materialize from a master, THEE Master behind such beauty of sound. And experience all the seasons rush you into a vortex of classical mayhem with a twist of ancient language we later understand as music compose to your aid. Freaky, but euphoric and tranquil as well. The Ultimate journey.

0:00 - I. Allegro non molto - Allegro 5:58 - II. Adagio - Presto - Adagio 8:09 - III. Presto I. Allegro non molto - Allegro Under a hard season, fired up by the sun Languishes man, languishes the flock and burns the pine We hear the cuckoo's voice; then sweet songs of the turtledove and finch are heard. Soft breezes stir the air, but threatening the North Wind sweeps them suddenly aside. The shepherd trembles, fearing violent storms and his fate. II. Allegro non molto - Allegro The fear of lightning and fierce thunder Robs his tired limbs of rest As gnats and flies buzz furiously around. III. Presto Alas, his fears were justified The Heavens thunder and roar and with hail Cut the head off the wheat and damages the grain.

Call me a weirdo my workout routine consists of listening to Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" when pumping iron. Music for the civilized makes a good contrast when I go beast mode on the weights and animal instinct comes out.
