Antwerp is a very nice city as are the suburbs like Kalmthout for example where we stayed when some friends we knew were temporarily renting a countryside house there in 1981/82 for work reasons before returning to their own house in Shavington Cheshire. Kalmthout sits right on the Dutch border where we accidentally ended up without realizing while cycling around the area to find a cafe for lunch and when receiving the bill noticed that it was in Dutch Guilders instead of Belgian Francs. We didn't have our passports with us and had to exit the Netherlands as quickly as possible so as to not get caught by the Gendarmes.

What a wonderful city, full of historical buildings. The Cathedral of our Lady is amazing and the Brabo fountain is really original and creative 👍

thanks for watching. I really enjoyed Antwerp, its one of those places that is a little under rated as most people go to Bruges or Ghent instead but I found Antwerp to be really awesome. Have a great weekend cheers from barnyz

You bring the most beautiful places in Europe into people's homes. I enjoyed every second of your video. The change of scenery from the outside of the museum to the inside was to die for. I was completely stunned by the interior of the station. I'm sure under KZfaq analysis this post has 100% viewership. Thank you for your highly professional run and gun movies. thank you for the very kind comment. This video was a lot of work and in my dreams they would get 100% viewership (sadly thats not the reality for youtube). I seem to be making them longer and longer to make sure i really show as much as possible in each location but that means im spending longer recording the footage and then even longer to edit it alltogether. Only been to Bruges, which was a very impressive, despite the none stop rain when we were there, so nice to see another city, which looked equally impressive and the bonus of no rain. The cathedral inside and out was amazing, loved the artwork they had there and the old castle was superb as well. I think we need another trip to Belgium, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan. On the same trip I also visited Bruges (video to come later this year) and a few other places in Belgium all of which were easily doable as day trips from Brussels. I really enjoyed getting the Eurostar to Brussels as its much nicer than getting a plane so that makes a trip to Belgium even better. So yeah i would recommend a return visit as the country has a great rail network and its easy and cheap to get everywhere and in my experience all the cities are very interesting and impressive. If I'm correct.......the Zoo is next to the station....and hundreds of Jewelry shops in one street 😮

I believe you are correct on both points :) The zoo entrance is basically next to the station and there is an entire diamond district en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antwerp_diamond_district

I just created my instagram page, and at the moment my page is not public and not commercial, and I have very few followers😊. In the future, I plan to make it public. Now, I want to introduce the city of Antwerp, where I live, to my followers and show its attractions and distinctive features. This video is very nice.😊 By mentioning your name, of course. @naghme af I appreciate that you asked, but editing the video and reposting would be bad for copyright. If you are lucky enough live in Antwerp you should be able to go and record some great original content of your own that is much better than my video 👍👍👍
