i don't think a fresher needs to know about system designs and kafka, i have seen companies asking system designs to 2-3 years of experience in the industry, scalability is also a part of dev ops, you can't expect so much from a fresher and pay them a salary of an intern, the demand supply is the main problem which companies are taking unnecessary advantage of, even a fully functional e-commerce in mern requires a good amount of skill set, so i don't understand what the companies want at this point in time, they expect an intern to know everything of a senior level. The market is just nonsense at this point of time.

I am working as a Full Stack Developer ( MERN+Mobile+Gen AI ) and I am working on these technologies. Quality is more important than quantity. Quality developer ki kami h.

Java stack freshers are also jobless. Every company need experience more than one or two years in it. Actually software industry is in recession period and so many layoff are present in every stack. Do MERN or any stack and try hard to apply for many jobs and be well ready for interviews and you will get job.

I think that the main reason behind this type of job market is Seniors. Senior Developer has knowledge of very old technologies and don't even know how to design systems. Because of them most of the Freshers who has very high skillset has to suffer. These seniors just want to enjoy their high salary and don't want to let Freshers come in their place. In place of 10 seniors looting 50 lakhs per month, some 1-2 seniors + 50 juniors can get that place, even if 20k per month is offered.

So whats the solution?? If everyone is learning MERN and have already learnt it to some extent then what next they can do to standout? I look forward to see a video that gives solution to this.

What about someone who has already invested some time in learning MERN stack, should they leave it completely... If not then how should they up skill to meet the expectations of the industry. Please enlighten us!

i think the biggest problem is the over supply of mern stack courses ... when someone goes to learn 'development' he/she is bombarded with MERN , and hence just goes with MERN.

Don't think there are jobs for Freshers in Data Engineering and Devops as all companies want 4+ years of experience. It is also oversaturated now

i think if u know mern u can explore tech like video/audio streaming and like implementation of abs,DASH,DRM then u can explore websocket and webrtc before that u can explore integrationof various types of payment gateway then u can also explore building npm pakages ,chrome extensions i think these content is not easily availabe if u get interest in some tech then u can go for it

u are partially wrong.... because agar react pe frontend aur express server hi nahi banaoge to docker aur kubernetes pe apna ghanta chalaoge ? git pe ghanta commit maaroge? linux pe bhi to server hi deploy karoge na ? mahine learning model maan sakta hu voh alag cheez h.... distributed system kis cheez ka banaoge ? jab basic server hi nahi banana aaega? reality is mern should be everyone's starting point..then they can branch out to specialization in ur mentioned fields

Everybody wants people who are experienced. Not freshers. We we are experienced also, they want experienced in that technology only. How can one be equally good at everything? Its nonsense. I dont know who invented all these. 2 years ago I got a call for Power BI developer job asking for 9 years experience. That time Power BI was just 7 years old 😂😂 Companies want people who are experienced but for low payment.

Many of the companies are not hiring for DevOps fresher

Yes Mern is oversaturated, Like front-end wise its good and easy to adapt but when we use express library to handle apis it not worth as about the scaling ,performance and security wise. Like they are IT teams in software industry to moiniter, scale and architecture. So without the scalability and performance wise apis is not worth. Prefer react for only frontend and other backend service we need to switch to other technology like spring and integration tools. Finally companies prefers scalable security solutions for their servers and clients Not developer easyness or toughness.

Mern stack is the solution for web. You will not get a job by only a stack, mern or mean or laraval or springboot you have to create the idea how to make a app from scratch, how to use ai in your app, how to write clean and maintainable code and shoud have knowledge of deploying, docker, cicd etc.

I am working as node js developer after 5 year gap , i am non tech physics honours (learn C programming in 3rd year syllabus), What i realised software engineering is different from MERN stack 😂 you cant justify with js , while not knowing What is pointer , time complexity space complexity other CS concept,,,,,, I am going to shift to data analytics i learned python previously upto oops I think pure coding is not for me , i came in MERN stack because i needed a job as quickly as possible
