Tell me what is mainstream or arthouse?

@@imtiajulhaquemollah7838 hey thanks for asking this, mainstream cinema according to me is a cinema where the main aim of the makers is to make a film which suits the current trends and has a serious mass appeal, for eg lets say about dj mohabbat, it has new gen z exaggerated and the main aim of these film is money. However arthouse cinema is opposite, theres no need of elements which gather mass in these type, because the story the plot, is enough to gather attention, and has clever writing and no stupid dance scenes or jokes
