Too much decor in a small place! Felt claustrophobic. Also the animal skin!! A big NO!!! 👎🏻

Too much clutter, too many styles jumbled together. Felt the decor was quite incongruous.

Less of "DIY" more of "Bohot Paisa hai Apne(Dad actually) pas"

Too flamboyant.. did not Like the house .. the fact that you flaunt an animal skin with so much pride is not my taste .. really felt she is trying too hard to make her house likeable.. but she utterly failed

Certain elements of your home is an ode to old Calcutta charm like the Anglo-Dutch style chairs , wedge wood pieces(btw you can source great pieces from Rusell exchange as well) and certain elements were very European....infact your green cabinet doors reminded me of doors and windows of old Calcutta homes(quintessentially North calcutta).

It's totally cool to mastermind your interior design and fill it with treasured keepsakes (you do you boo), and I loved that about you. However, something about this particular showcase left a bad taste in my mouth. Sure, it's impressive you managed to snag the whole Portebello market, but the constant commentary on every minute detail and its foreign origins was a little overkill. The only good thing was how you managed to keep it minimalistic and nice in the"pujo ghor" part. Unfortunately, the excessive globetrotting tales spoiled the fun vibe and stole the limelight from "some" of your well-designed rooms. Also, a big no to animal skin, I mean you have a pet!!🙄

Victorian themed is generally maximalism, that’s why she’s got a lotta stuffs around. Nicely done, but not my kinda house preference.

Decor pieces are awesome certain places are really beautiful. Overall good. But seems like clumsy visavis the total area in the apartment. I think it would have been better to explore some vertical design to put up decor items and create some space. But over all quiet beautiful and lovely collection of items.

Aesthetically this house (not as a home) is a reflection of sophistication and class and that sense of aestheticism is sincerely appreciable. Tastefully decorated with expensive items. Nice.

Not exactly cosy. Pretty, expensive stuffs thrown together without much plan. Most importantly, the kangaroo skin is not supportable. It is rather insensitive and frankly not expected from a pet parent that you claim to be. I am sorry to say it is coming across as a really thick display of wealth. You have it, you show it. Understandable. But not good taste.
