Mindboggling rendition of this incredibly beautiful song. Heavenly composition by the great Madan Mohan Sahab, and awesome lyrics by Kaifi Aazmi Sahab. Lataji made this song celestial with her awe-inspiring singing and Anwashaa....you have done wonders. Honey drips from your voice when you sing. I wish i had recorded one of my songs in your voice when i composed albums in Panchamda's tribute. Keep it up!

Anwesha is Bengali. I believe she doesn't understand urdu much. Still she managed to infuse soul into her rendition. For that, kudos to her. To my mind, she is better than Shreya Ghoshal who is a bit show-off. Flutist messed up though none spotted. Many people wowing tabla player without appreciating dholki. Laxmi-Pyare's signature beat with Dholak is all evident.

There is no equal person to Legend Lataji but this Anwesha has tried her level best to follow the legendry and struggled her best to imitate her, here the question arises of melody, luckily Anwesha has succeeded ln it. Very nice and I really like (as an artist) Anwesha but Lata is Lata and like Rafi saab they are unique and remain unparalleled - You can notice the power and verb and the pitch in Lata's versions where is Anwesha (also an excellent rendition) is softer. 10/10 for effort!
