Anthony, my mother always said “thoughts are living things”. I also know that what you focus on develops!……try and put those negative thoughts about the wind blowing the trees down to rest. A good friend once told me, “You can live in faith or fear, but not both at the same time….so choose one”. When I become fearful about something, I remind myself of this and opt for faith over fear 🙃. Love the new bunnies 🥰

Wind makes me nervous even when there are no storms. Its the sound. No reasoning. It just does.

Have you considered building a cellar.. like the old time storm or food storage cellars that farmers had? I know you have access to your sisters basement cellar, but at 2 in the morning if you get an alert! Right next your house, not under it.. Maybe something like mama V's, but build into the ground? It could be used for storage of emergency things 90 percent of time, but maybe it would give you peace of mind.

So happy for you getting new babies. My understanding is after 2-3 weeks they can wean from mother. After 3 months the mortality rate goes to almost nothing. On my uncles farm there was always human intervention without a problem. Most of the mothers were already accustomed to human presence. Seeing 80+ degrees here on northeast Missouri yesterday and today with tomorrow ( Wed) 39/25 Go figure. Excited to see the next CRC video. Ant, my childhood was very toxic and I have struggled with sleep. I have had success with using a sound machine using the ocean sound. I have been single for 32 years and feel the need to hear any security threats. Using the machine has helped. Walmart has them for about $20.

Good luck with that company. They change names so often you can't keep up with them. They were charging me a fee every month, and I never consented for that. I bought something in 2020 I think. You only had to pay shipping for it, might have been a cap or some little thing. After that, I started getting charged right at $50 every month. I didn't even notice it because at the time I was doing a lot of online shopping due to businesses making you wear masks. Anyway, when I figured it out it took FOREVER to get my money back. It was over $800.

Gonna be 85 and windy here in Tulsa!!! Lost my 80 yr old pecan tree out front a year ago into my garage…solved the issue but my neighbors have one just the same in their backyard that would take my whole house down😳😳😞I totally understand your anxiety!!! 😊

Anthony I know what your talking about gusts that are so strong they literally can push you over and across the land your on!! I have a very funny story about gusts of wind doing just that one day when I was walking to work in Philadelphia where all the very tall buildings are located!! It had to be about 70 mph gust and knocked me down and literally pushed me into a bush and when I looked up and saw a man bent over in laughter because he viewed the whole episode !! I don’t want any trees that could land on my house near my house. Last year we had so many bad storms where trees can down we were so happy we took down a large pine tree before we moved in.

The winds get high here sometimes and we live by a golf course and we have large trees all aroound apt units here. And they move back and affords. I used to be scared of that. But not no more. Ive lived through tornados and hurricanes in Texas and here and in Mexico by the ocean. I just put my trust in the Lord. I love yall and yalls videos.❤❤

Anthony, it is ok to brag raid of Strong Winds. We sometimes get them here and they Howl. I get nervous because it reminds me of the many Dangerous Hurricanes I have lived through. Unfortunately the warm air from the south and the cold air from the north can cause tornado activity..starting now until May, we can definitely get them.. I would definitely recommend a storm shelter if you can get one..they can also be used as a storage for root vegetables..Hopefully you will have good luck with your baby rabbits..

Love the bunnies. I am afraid of the wind blowing down trees as well. That tree you are describing sounds like one that was in my yard. It is a type of spruce. We had ours cut down cause it moved too much. When we did it was rotten inside. It was a ticking time bomb.

Enjoy those nice temps. Old Phil might have been right with the early spring prediction this year. Up north a pretty good sign of spring is when you start smelling skunks. I've been smelling them for two weeks now. Also road kill for varmints has really picked up this past week. So all of the hibernating critters are out and about already. It was so strange to me that you would talk about the wind there in Arkansas the same night that I had extreme winds here in Southern California. I live up close to the mountains, so the wind that comes through the pass and it literally rocks my home. I didn’t sleep much last night at all. And when I finally fell asleep I slept until almost noon.

I'm sorry that you are going through the stress of weather... but I've been in 3 tornadoes through my life and I understand why it bothers you. But despite the damage that it can cause life after it keeps going forward... Things happen and we just need to do our best to keep going on with life...

Yeah the whole 'Don't Touch Kits' is a myth, or old wives tale if you you will. Even when it comes to wild rabbits. Something I learned while working with our local DNR/Wildlife Rehab center. Very interesting stuff I learned from all sorts of animals. My daughter will be able to start her adventure working with them next year and we're so excited.

I totally feel your anxiety Anthony, I have 2 60+ feet cottonwood that are 45 plus years old, I'm shocked they didn't come through my house in last years 60 mph with 80 mph gusts, insane scary winds here in Alaska. They are near my bedroom and I won't sleep in my own bedroom. I also can hear apin drop when I'm asleep so, when the wind blows for a week straight, I get zero sleep and become so exhausted.

Its the trees that DON'T sway in the wind that you need to worry about.

The bad luck comes from trying to be too overbearing, let them do ttheir thing, they know what they are doing and do not need human help in the wild. As long as they have access the elements they need they do okay. You gave them a box and didn't try to prep it for her 😊

Good morning guys. Our winds have been so bad yesterday and today. We're gusting to 60 and higher. To make matters worse, we have several wildfires burning all around us! At night, you can see an orange glow around the city. Scary!

Those rabbits know you're sent they know you're not going to harm they're not going to kill them babies when I was young my dad ran over a baby nest and it took a chunk out of the mother and I bottle fed the babies and nursed the mother back to health and then let them go and she never tried to eat the babies while we were taking care of her and her babies

It is less likely you will be hit, but if I was you and SLR I would build a storm shelter. It's better to be safe then sorry. Just saying.
