A Tragedy Period!

I loved that they were able to find one another again but I can't escape my fear that the James of the Royal Navy is not the James of the Captain Flint legacy. I doubt that the former had ever been required to kill anyone, where the latter had killed innumerable people, including Thomas' father. Is Captain Flint still the idealist that Lt. James McGraw was? Do the the two men, when they meet on the plantation, still share the same philosophy and outlook on life?

I’m new to Black Sails - is the relationship confined to one season?

What happens to Flint and Hamilton? Is the end of the video the way the series ends? Because I read that Hamilton dies in a mental hospital.
