Yeah, the main reason Yuri interactions with Anya are so antagonistic and immature compared to like, Yor and Loid is because they're "more of an eldest adult parents type" while Yuri was the youngest child. ( he’s still 20) Although Yuri does not admit it, but he seems like he sincerely enjoys spending time with Anya and starting to accept her in his life and it's a very cute dynamic they end up with! ( later he starts to give her a nickname, too. He already attached to Anya and Loid but he still in a denial to accept the new family)

@@silly_seahorse I believe the manga didn’t have a proper bonding chapter for them, yet. But the lightnovel of Yuri babysit Anya for a day is portrait a good dynamic of them and it’s confirmed they official bonding in there. I hope it happens in manga soon

Honestly it’s getting pretty clear Yuri is actually starting to see Anya as someone he can care of. In manga he is shown to try and save Anya. Then in light novel he even agrees to take care of her and take her out to a kids workplace. They both enjoy being there and Yuri actually started to hold Anya’s hand even without thinking. (He did at the start tho)

@@Sorry_i_eated_it That can be understood through his childhood. He read and did all the necessary things just to make her sister happy and let her live a happy life. Although Yori is younger than Yor but since his childhood he thinks he should be reaponsible enough to take care of her sister. That is the reason he is too ruthless in his job and too clumpsy like a puppy infront of his sister. She was the only family he have since his childhood so he extremely take care of her. Now suddenly, yor give him not onlg a brother in law but even a cute niece he was not ready for all this. So he is having some emotional issues to accept a new family all of a sudden.

I really love Yuri and Anya dynamic ❤ ( spoiler) even with recent chapter, Yuri maybe dont know but he’s starting to worry for her safety without noticing it because his actions said it all. But he just like Loid , a tsundere that being denial to accept the new family. It will take a long time for him though Personally I’m hoping Anya use her telepathy to read his mind and learn that he truly care about her and the kids in that bus accident ( he really take that bullet to protect the bus anyway)

He do not hate Anya 💀 it’s clearly when Anya said that she will protect Yor and eat her food in future, Yuri admit he does adore her words and tutor her. He even advice her to study to earn knowledge to help the one she loves. It’s clearly Yuri got attached to both Loid and Anya, that’s why he’s giving them nickname. He’s just in denial stage to accept the new family.

Yuri still being immature in his age , of course he would being annoying in your point of view, later he’s getting better, I personally like he being serious in his work and not focus on his overall toward Yor. Remember Yor is still not confident in her office life and she needs the lies to cover her indentity and not let her brother worried in her being alone the rest of her life ( hell, he even called her to invite his friends to be her boyfriend )

The immmature is valid though, he’s still 20, he will grow out of it soon. I mean, he does care for Anya recently, so I think there is a chance for character development for him
