Anya/Frollo - My Memories Keep You Near

thank you for all your support. without you it wouldn't be the same here!
when i made this video, i was inspired by the book "homo faber", in which a man has a love affair with his daughter, but doesn't know who she is.
the difference between the book and my video is, that nothing happend between anya and frollo. they just feel attracted to each other.
one year ago i made one of my first crossovers with noone else than anya and frollo. time passed by and these two together is still my favourite crossover pairing! the ony problem i have with them is, that they're not so easy to work with (esp. chroma keyer -_-). that's the reason why this video isn't a masterpiece. i know i could have done better, but somehow i had problems with the plot. i hope you understand it (plot) a bit, at last.
i will write it down, tomorrow or so :)

I...I think I cried. I think I cried when he revealed he's her father, and when they both died. This was beautiful, the editing, song and plot. thumbs up!

WOW! Not a masterpiece? Then what you'd call it? It's brilliant! I loved the father/daughter relationship and it scared me off, but just a little. Congrats on the anniversarie :)

This is very well done. Truly amazing presentation of this unlikely and provocative narrative of an emotional connection between these very two different characters. Remarkable work showing characters from two animated films and editing them to appear in the same story and even in the same scenes. It clearly took a lot of careful planning and talented editing to make this great crossover vid. Wonderful work, very well done.

Here’s what I think the plot is: Anya the daughter of the king and they are attacked by Rasputin and even though they escape Anya is separated from her father and loses her memory. Many years later Anya stumbles upon an abandoned palace and Frollo who has been hiding there goes to see who is there. Anya begins to have flashes of memories until Frollo finds her and asks what she is doing there, she explains that she has no memory of her past but knows she has to get to Paris so Frollo accompanies her. Eventually the two grow to care for each other and Rasputin who knows who Anya is plots to finish off the family. Frollo begins to realize he somehow has a connection to Anya as she is like his daughter whom he lost. One night at a ball Anya goes outside and comes face to face with Rasputin, meanwhile Frollo realizes that she is his lost daughter. As Rasputin tries to finish off Anya Frollo goes to her and as they are over the bridge he reveals to be her father which she is shocked to hear. Sadly though they both die after falling into the river but are now together forever.

I think a villain crush can be ageless. I, for example, have 3: In 1st place: Forte (in his human form) In 2nd place: Frollo In 3rd place: Snape (though it's ambiguous whether he's really a villain or not)

oh I could tell this was Within Temptation and not Evanescence. I love both bands and know their music. excellent choice for this video though, powerful vocals and tempo. its a rare sight, seeing Frollo cast in the role of hero. this would have been an interesting story in full movie length.

It would be a lot better if he wasn't her father. It was still good, but it would have been better if they had never really known eachother, but at the same time there was a deep connection. Good stuff.
