I got my hand caught in one as a kid, but I'm more worried about being stuck in there. I'm claustrophobic, and will crashout in there. I'd be breakin thru the windows to get out after I get to the point where I can't keep it together anymore.

Scared of elevators, used to take stairs to the 9th floor😅

I wasn´t afraid of them. But for whatever reason i began to have permanent nightmares of being stuck or fall down and eventually i was a little bit afraid of them in real life.

Me too. I also didn’t know real fear until I went to the Tinseltown movie theatre in Vancouver and the escalators were over empty space and you could see the main floor below. The stairs were even worse because there was a gap between the steps. Literal stairway to heaven. The escalator in Burrard Station is another but I made the mistake of going down a stationary one and those were high enough that you couldn’t see the bottom and there’s a ceiling that initially blocks your view of the bottom on the way down. I usually get off a station after to avoid it.

Oh dear... I have it with some escalators, especially when they're high and there's void next to them. Always afraid someone bumps me and I fall over. But there are ones I'm okay with, just the ones that have a speed that is too fast. I think.
