Great video but I have some questions. I manage to connect to TV but when I'm projecting with my huawei mate 20 pro phone it's really lagy and distorted. And the WiFi starts working really slow. And after I sometimes let it run for about 3-4minutes on KZfaq for example it disconnects automatically. Any advice on what should I do?

I have a MOTO E5. It does not show the dongle in "Nearby devices" when I cast using Google Home. (I have a diff brand cheap dongle that has pretty much the same steps you showed for a smart TV. ) I believe Android 8 and above don't support miracast. Awful product. When I first plugged it in I saw the start up page on my TV. It was emitting a wifi signal which I picked up on my phone. Easy. I then tried to connect it to the Internet, with Anycast connected. At first it failed. But on the third attempt both Anycast and my Internet wifi were connected. However, My phone display was not on the TV. The 'Airplay' option was not availebale on my phone to connect screen to Anycast. So I downloaded a few Android 'cast' display apps. They all detected the Anycast signal but could not display the phone on my TV. Failed. I have tried five other Android devices and Anycast doesn't work on any of them. Then Anycast failed. It's no longer emitting a wifi signal. Dead as a Dodo. I've been on KZfaq watching loads of 'Anycast set up' vids and despite following all the instructions to the letter, this product is not working.

This isn't rocket science people. I bought one $8 and it works just like Chromecast. Good video! Ty! The dislikes are from people that don't know how to use it. Instead of mirroring KZfaq, cast it to this device, top right press tv with Wi-Fi symbol and it will cast.

Hi, i bought a new ang cast today and I was connected to tv properly. It shows connect to tv and wifi shown as in your video. But the screen didn't cast to tv. My mobile is Samsung nu prime and it has smart view option. I didn't identify the problem. Plz solve my problem.

WELL DONE,IT WORKED. Using a Hua Wei Y7 Pro 2018 casting to a non smart Sharp TV. Sadly the best live football apps block casting to a bigger screen. I suppose it is to prevent commercial use of free apps. I can probably find some that are not blocked, but the streaming quality may be poor. I still have the option of scrcpy running from another phone (Moto G30) onto my Linux Mint laptop. Then projected via an HDMI lead to a bigger monitor. I like to have back ups and alternatives for big games. Hence a non smart 30inch TV is linked to my Google Chromecast with a cheap paid app on board/. But that rarely gets through a game with a little freezing or buffering. I live in Thailand, so I have some interesting workarounds for streaming my matches.

I just followed the instructions and its all done..it helps a lot. The thing is.. I already connected thru miracast.aftr couple of minutes... Ir doesnt connected in my mobile.. Again i have to set again.. And again and again.. And the same error.. Monitor just stay disconnected.

Good day I bought myself a M4 plus anycast dongle . I folowed every step to get my huawei mate 20lite connected to my samsung pc monitor only but was unsuccessfull. I plug the donlge into the back of my samsung pc minitor only, i want to connect my android phone to my monitor ( it seems that my android phone cant pickup the monitor while scanning) thats my 1st question 2nd question: if i get question one right, my monitor does not have any sound on it, will i be bale to play sound from my phone throuh a bluetooth speaker via my monitor?

Please help me. I've plugged my Anycast M2 into the hdmi and usb ports as shown but nothing relating to Anycast comes up on the tv screen. I choose the source as HDMI 3 (the port I'm using) but the screen just tells me to check the cables. When I first got the dongle I plugged it into another tv that wasn't mine, set it up according to the booklet and it worked perfectly. I'm now trying to use it on my Samsung tv as per the booklet instructions but nothing is happening. It's driving me insane! I'm trying to use the dongle with a Windows Notebook, the same one I used when I first got the dongle. Any help will be most appreciated.

Does it work using only mobile data? Got Chromecast but it requires having a router. I'm cheap and just use my mobile data, I don't have home internet or a router, but have unlimited mobile data. Used to use Netgear Push2TV, but it doesn't work with my new Moto G8 since it doesn't support Miracast. I need a way to cast to TV using only mobile data, and not using hotspot either.

You don’t need the app necessarily. I got this to work by projecting from a windows laptop. My phone, once I logged onto it. You can just air screen it. However. It’s took me a while! Miracast charge you for the mirroring. Unless I’ve picked the wrong one.
