@@RataStuey it was either 3 or 4, but they had to play it multiple times bc MTV wanted multiple different camera angles and didnt have enough cameras to set up all the angles they wanted for one take. so yeah, they played creep numerous times and then spontaneously and unplanned, they performed this work of art lmfao

I just submitted a term paper about OK Computer. The writing process wasn’t easy. While searching for interviews as sources, I stumbled across this masterpiece. It became my companion when I felt miserable because of my term paper. I screamed with Thom at 02:33 when I felt pure despair. It was a relief. It’s strange that this video helped me the most even though it was connected to my work. I’m crying tears of joy right now.

For anyone that hasn't seen the AMA Ed did on Reddit, someone asked if any part of this performance was planned. Ed responded by saying Thom did it in the spur of the moment cause he was pissed off by the presenter: "Thom was getting more and more pissed off with Kennedy the presenter... I don't think she understood his animosity!"

Yeah, I was there in The Beach House with Kennedy and Thom that day. It wasn't that big of a house and at one point the two of them both came around a corner at the same time and they both just stood there facing each other, staring one another down. After five seconds I literally laughed out loud and thought it would pass. Nope. They both just stood there, staring at one another, both stubborn AF

I've always loved the shot of Ed trying to hide his smile by turning away from the camera after Thom's screaming fit. He probably can't believe it happened either, and can barely contain his amusement. Jonny is in another dimension fucking annihilating his guitar, Colin is just happy to be there, and Phil is just vibing. What a silly band.
