AOC Details Impeachment Articles for Supreme Court Justices

26 күн бұрынRep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito's refusal to recuse themselves from cases where they have conflicts of interest and personal financial involvement ‘represents an abuse of power and threat to our democracy.’
Both reportedly failed to disclose gifts they received while serving on the court. Impeachment has very little chance of advancing in the GOP-controlled House, but it signals that if Democrats regain control of the House, they would investigate the justices.
