I used to love playing saracens but I hated when I would make a mameluke. Even though I could've learned which upgrades it benefited from, I chose to remain ignorant and blindly upgrade everything in the blacksmith hoping it would benefit from something.

Maybe do a similar video on all siege units? What kind upgrades their are, how it improves it all. Especially with those civ upgrades for siege which can be useful to know.

Watching videos like this, implementing them in the campaigns and all that has influenced me when I play other strategy games. The things seem obvious in hindsight, like focusing on armour for melee units.

You should also talk about when to spend the resources to upgrade those traits, versus investing in more units

Appreciate your work. You would also have added the university mod, as they also play important role in buildings and wall structures.

I do wish you would have called it 'Normal' and 'peirce' attack/armour. This corrects the main confusion about the ranged normal attacks from axemen, mamelukes, gebeto, lancer, kameyuk etc.

Anyway, great to see you making plenty of content again. It’s yourself that got me in to the game again and try out the whole streaming thing myself

The ranged mounted units(except Kipchak and Mangudai) are extremely confusing units and I think there should be a separate video to cover them. Mamelukes take damage from Skirmishers and Huskarls as they are Archer + Cavalry. Arimbai don't get affected by Fletching or Thumb Ring if you test them. Elephant Archer and War Wagon are 100% accurate and have attack bonus vs buildings. Conquistador have attack bonus vs Rams and Ballista Elephants can be healed despite being Seige. BONUS RANT - KIPCHAKS NO FRAME DELAY BEFORE ATTACK OP OVER 9000

Hello Zero and fans. I am one of the older fans of this game. I am having an issue where the slow game mode (I am retired from multiplayer lol) seems like Normal speed in the old game. My fingers/wrist/arm do not work as much anymore. Is there a way I can slow down this game to what used to be slow in original? Maybe my computer is too OP?

So should i be upgrading all of them ? Or only what’s necessary to the matchs conditions ?

What would be the potentially best ranged units then? I enjoy bombardment towers for defense and using long ranged squads so I was thinking Turks but now i see their special units dont get the bonus from range/dmg tech.

Can someone help me ? Zero Empires once recommended a website where you could see all the server games for AOE 2 HD. i can't find that very useful website anymore, anyone know it ?

Which upgrades should you prioritize first?

Iv played 4 games of DE, and every single game has had a dropped player. I'm having issues getting people to join my games, seeing other peoples' games, and my cousin cant even see my games unless I invite him. Also, it seems there are some parts of the game that aren't complete. For example, why don't battle elephants and war elephants have sound animations when attacking? Silent tusk smashing. In the interviews the people creating the game said that one laggy gamer wouldn't slow down the whole game. I can say with certainty that this statement is false. The game lags, and when the laggy gamer is dropped/defeated, the game runs smoothly afterwards. I wish I could say I wasn't disappointed with the release of this game. I hate sounding so negative, but I love AOE2 and have been playing since for 17 years. I was so hyped for this release, and now its been 2 weeks and I still can't even get a good game going. I hope the devs can turn this around, I want to play me some solid Age of Empires!!!!!

Does alchemy improve Conquistador attack?

Does thumbring affect skirmishers and cavalry archers? Or only normal Archer line?

When you thought you know everything about the Blacksmith and you learn something new.

Can't you upgrade scorpion attack at the blacksmith?
