I think that is often the case, yeah. It's probably due to timings and builds being very tight and in high level games there are small margins for error, so investing in techs that are more long term are often overlooked. If you miss a batch of skirm or cav in place of a native tech, it can be the difference in the game. It definitely is beneficial to take advantage of these techs in later game stages tho, which I'm going to try to focus on doing.

Well with Brit eco you can easily do that Plus you can mass longbows really fast by shipments and age ups so you can only do goons You can get half of needed mass by only 1 shipments and 1 age up Then ship 1k wood to make the rest And as Brits you will always have like 10 on wood to manor boom anyways so you will always have extra wood
