Masterclass I.2 - Basic Macro
This Masterclass focuses on the basics of proper economic management in AoE4. This is commonly referred to as "macro". We're looking to introduce this concept to beginner players for AoE4. The goal of this video is to show which considerations go into doing the following tasks:
- Spending resources,
- Villager production,
- Housing,
Essentially, you need to constantly shift your attention back to your economy. At no point in the game should your macro be neglected. You need to circle back to your economy on an ongoing basis. As demonstrated in this video, it can be a lot less APM intensive than it seems.
This channel focuses in AoE4 1v1, from Bronze to Conqueror. Particular emphasis is placed on learning about the game and helping new players ease their way into the multiplayer scene.

This really is a great video in highlighting just how important it is to keep tack on your res and produktion, ando also how "easy" it is. After I watched this i went into a game against AI and tried it myself. Was surprised at how much higher supoly I had early in the game!

I'm new to this game and it was so hard to understand because I can't learn build orders other I get confused like what to do after 5 min I wanted to learn the fundamentals first then learn stuff like build orders. By the 3rd minute of the game they already have 500 horses, 800 spears and 18 catapults attacking me online and I’m still just barely building lol

Hey, im new to Age of empires. In this video i notcied you selected multiple villagers when creating a mill and farms. When you do it this way, do the villagers automatically work the farms as they are built. Or do you still need to assign them afterwards? Thank you.

They will automatically go and work the farms after they are built. :) As long as you made the same number of farms as the amount of villagers you selected.

"Hardest AI = around gold or plat" No way man. I'd say most Bronze3 or Silver players could beat the Hardest AI without much trouble. Otherwise, this was a good and helpful video though.

I'm glad it was helpful, my bad about the AI I'm not the best at judging relative skill. Hardest AI is capable of getting some units out is why I said that. :p

I am beating these AI because how predictable they are. Meanwhile I never touch rank in my life and trying to figure basic mechanics lmfao
