I forgot to mention in video that attack of opportunity and retaliation shares the same charges... So theres also that Ill update that in the description

Really appreciate the info you are conveying. If you are serious about creating more of these, I would suggest using visual information to convey your points. There were a few times I had to rewind to grasp what you were saying.

I can barely hear your faint voice over the shattering music volume. Finetune that a little please :) the music really does not add anything to your video in this case.

While the big YTers Clickbaiting the heck out of the algorythm just to quote the FIVE AWESOME LEGENDARY tutorial bits they could get they're grasp on in 5 similiar vids, here sits humbly the true knowledge. Still some detailed questions: Charge Strike: -Do i have to move and attack in one go for the bonus -Does moving around him with sprint counts -Do phase counts Great Video keep it up and the music volume maybe a bit down

As far as I have seen, You dont have to move and attack in one go for the bonus...Moving around doesn't count if you attack on the same tile you started on. The charge bonus was calculated based on distance between the tile you started your turn on vs the tile initiate the attack on, so phasing does count. I havent tested it out with sprint. But since phasing works, I believe it should work as well as long as atk isn't on the same tile .

I need help when I am facing high risk battles. I’m having trouble with the 5th tutorial against the angelic enemies. They buff up and slaughter me. I try to debuff, but their awake ears cancel my rebuffs easily

What's your army's composition and spell, etc What are the enemy's unit composition? AIs aren't really good at picking the right spell at the right time... They cast buff at 1st turn so I would suggest to take a step back and wait for them to get close to kite out more turns so they have less buff by the time the fight starts. Depending on what it is, you probably dont need to worry about debuffing as much but just dropping damage or buffing urself might be a more solid way to go. Usually against order enemies, Lightbringer is the biggest issue as it has mind control and that can really turn the battle against u depending on if the ai won the coinflip. I will usually try to focus it down with shock(Prob with teleport) or range and spells. A lot of this is also about just having a strong build and being ahead of the lead build wise. Tome of the horde is a really good tome and if you are having trouble, I suggest you try that out with ur run regardless of build. With a good build, its common that you win high risk with minimal losses even by just autoing. Out numbering your enemy also matters more than just having higher tier units. 3 stacks of t1 can rekt a 2 stack t3. Good tome choices also let you have more good option to deal with fights, especially the small scale ones. Its harder for me to offer without more information. Thank you for your guild. But, I confused with your effective health calulation. What is the formula? if we have 100 HP, then 1 point - 110 Effective HP (10% reduction) 7 points - 152 Effective HP (52% reduction) What I have missed?

If you have 100% damage reduction, you don't have twice the amount of effective hp, you will have infinite effective hp because you are immune to damage (you take 0% damage). If you have 100% upkeep reduction, you don't need to pay any upkeep because it is 100% discounted. Even if your upkeep is 1000g before discount, and you only have 1g, you will still be able to pay for it for infinite amount of turns. Similar to how you have 100% discount for items in this store, they are technically free in this store and you can take as many as you want without paying a penny. You can clear the whole store even if you only had 1 dollar. The Damage you will take is like the price you have to pay, and the health is like the amount of dollars you have to pay for it. Damage reduction is like discount on stuff you will buy. 52% damage reduction is not 152% effective hp. The proper formula for this situation for a given say 100 health is (100 hp)/(100%-52%) = 208.3333~ hp, which you can conclude your effective health is 208.3% hp after 52% damage reduction. If you have 90% damage reduction, it means you only take 10% damage, which means your health is effectively worth 1000% what your base health is after the reduction is taken into account. Similar to how if something is 90% discounted on sale, you can buy 10 of the same item with the same amount of money. I hope that clarifies it!

how do you group your 3 troops? stack same unit comp in one troop or mix balanced units in each troops?

If you want to min max for movement, you can keep the land and flying and floating ones separate. Otherwise I genuinely suggest you mix melee with ranged if you are using ranged, or go all melee composition. That way, the groups will be more self-sufficient when you start the fight even if they join in as reinforcement to avoid having to waste too much turn on repositioning Melee units are generally more reliable and adaptable in this game than ranged. Archers are generally better ranged than Crossbows due to better synergy with on-hit enchantments and can dish out a lot of damage without retaliation. Ranged are unideal to use in situations like mage tower wonders where there are a lot of random dispositioning.
