@@bridgetkelly895 On the first document listed, you have the question #1 from last year, which presents a scenario and then 3 letters which respond to the scenario. On the second document, you see a rubric as to how concept apps are scored and 3 student responses. Person 1A got a perfect score, all the way down to person 1C who got a 1 out of 3.

@@bridgetkelly895 My best advice, given that there is only 1 day until the exam, is to see how person 1A setup their answers with each letter responding to the scenario, because you want to create a structure for answering each letter adequately. If you go to read the answers from person 1C, you'll notice that they write sentences, but they do not answer the questions by explaining necessary definitions and the "how".

Would Tinker v Des Moines and NY v. U.S also be examples of Selective Incorporation?

What is the practical difference between gerrymandering and apportionment? I noticed u said they were different when discussing baker v carr and Shaw v Reno

Gerrymandering refers to the odd redrawing of district lines in order to achieve some type of goal wether that be a majority republican district or something else. In the case of Shaw V Reno, the goal was to increase minority representation by creating a majority african american district however this was deemed unconstitutional becuase it violated the 14th amendments equal protections clause. Apportionment refers to the population within districts. In the case of Baker v Carr, there were district with very few people and districts with a lot of people. This was declared illegal because it was malapportionment which means that there was not roughly equal population within the districts, making certain votes less influential than other votes.

in Baker v. Carr was about malapportionment because its about putting a fewer amount of people in one district so each person's vote is worth more, while gerrymandering is about having the same amount of people but having a district have people of similar political views or race. Gerrymandering is technically legal, malapportionment is not.
