Your left eye is actually processed by the right part of your brain and thus your right occipital lobe.

But it's written on Barron's ap psychology that impulses from the left side of each retina go to the left hemisphere of the brain.

Not quite true. The right visual hemisphere (the right side of the field of vision) for both eyes is firstly processed by the primary visual cortex in the right side of the occipital lobe, and vice versa.

A lot of good information, however you spoke very fast. I had to slow the video down to 0.75 just to be able to follow along with what you were saying. Maybe that's something to consider for future videos as even if you explain the concepts really well, people still need time to absorb what you are saying, which is easier for people to do if you speak more slowly. Great video though.
