Well, it only took a couple seconds to grab my attention in this video. Mars (not to mention the rest of The Planets) is one of my favorite pieces of music. That insistent 5/4 just keeps you unsettled, building tension slowly at first, but then smacking you over the head. Such a brilliant piece of music.

I bought Two Seiko Samurai's after watching your video, you are correct on the rubber strap . Swapped out straight away. Got mine from Goldsmiths uk 🇬🇧 for £660.00 each. Love it, had it a few months now and haven't took it off. I've bought the second as it's a limited run, number 985/3500.

Cracking vid as usual and congrats on the AP! Definitely an iconic piece so enjoy it and I'm sure you will. I'm chuffed the Shu-iro made the cut to be the opening act for a Royal Oak! I had the Seiko locked in as soon as I saw it on their site so when you posted the box on instagram a few weeks back I was fairly sure of what it was having already collected mine. BTW I can't imagine the editing time in putting the likes of these vids together so fair play!

Amazing AP, IMHO its the most beautiful ST RO ever made. Love the contrasting sub dials and their size. Much nice than the latest version with same size sub dials. Congrats!!!!

I’ve been looking at this Seiko (Euro/Red) Samurai. To me its one of the best looking dials they ever did. And the touch of gold really makes it pop. That AP is an acquired taste…Although gorgeous, I never acquired that taste or the pocket book to learn to love it. 😂 But one thing for sure, it is NOT an ugly watch! That “video exit” footage really shows just how beautiful the AP really is. Enjoy that gorgeous watch. Well done!

Congratulations on joining the AP club! Love that you can have such an expensive watch and still enjoy a Seiko, which is also pretty cool btw. I would have an issue wearing something so expensive! How is watch crime in Venice? Seems to be on the rise in other cities. Insurance takes care of it but the premium must be huge! Anyway, enjoy. It looks wicked although I prefer some of your Rolexes and Omegas.

What a fantastic watch this AP is, and also the previous video the OP which is one of my fav watches of the entire world of watches. Clearly you don't mind, but for me I would have gone with an AP that does have the display caseback, it's such a shame this particular one lacks it. But we all got different priorities. Congrats, and please be mindful and wear sunglasses so that the reflection from it doesn't make you blind😄

Fantastic content amazing pictures The Royal Oak wow the light just dances of it a true grail watch .I’d like one at rrp Just picked up the same seiko samurai very impressive watch hell of a wrist full on my 8” wrist. makes you wonder why we pay big money for other brands when £660 gets you that’ movement and bracelet aside it’s just as pleasing to look at as my bluesy on silicon

I agree so much, being a big guy with bear size wrists. Nautilus are too damn small, beautiful but too small. The Patek 5227 Calatrava is the only model I’m obsessing over at 39.5mm dress piece. AP is perfect on you 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
