AP is live from Day 2 at the 2024 Republican National Convention, with delegates and officials descending on Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The focus is set to shift to immigration, an issue central to former President Donald Trump’s political brand that helped endear him to the GOP base during the 2016 race.

The 2nd half of this RNC left me in a river of tears. My heart broke for the family members that bravely spoke about their personal losses due to open borders, drugs, violent crime. So many American Patriots are listening to this in household groups. We're making it a week of celebration, and looking forward to voting for the Republican Grand Old Party, the party of Abraham Lincoln, in November!

As an person that is unaffiliated with either party and votes accordingly, I must say Biden/Harris, your administration fueled this convention. I am not a Trump fan whatsoever but thanks to the speakers from The People with their compelling stories, I may actually vote for him. I just wish he would dial his tone down a bit. We can do without the excessive name calling and wild zingers. I just never seen a humble moment out of him last time around and when there was, a few hours later, he ruined it with a tweet. Oh well. Let see how the DNC dig themself out of the mess they are in.
