Raag Lalit does not have a perfect fifth interval. It has a diminished fifth, which is the enharmonic equivalent of the augmented fourth interval. "ek shahanshaah ne banavaa ke hasI.n taajamahal saarii duniyaa ko muhabbat kii nishaanii dii hai....." But it also sounds like the Shubhapantuvarali raga.

ഇല്ലെന്നാണ് ഞാൻ വായിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. ക്ലാസിക്കൽ പാടാൻ വന്നപ്പോൾ ആ പാട്ട് മന്നാഡെയെ ഏല്പിച്ചു എന്നാണ് ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്. വളരെ ഭംഗിയായി അദ്ദേഹം ക്ലാസിക്കൽ പാടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നത് വേറെ കാര്യം.

എനിക്കു തോന്നുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞ മറ്റു പല കാര്യങ്ങളും പോലെ ഇതും അവർക്ക് കത്തിയില്ല. റഫി സാബിനെയും ലതാജിയെയുമൊക്കെ പരാമർശിച്ച കൂട്ടത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ട് അവരങ്ങനെ ധരിച്ചു. ഓരോ വാക്കും സൂക്ഷ്മമായി കേട്ടു മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ പിന്നീടൊട്ടു മെനക്കെട്ടതുമില്ല.

Jesudas had accent issues in hindi. Manna dey and Md Rafi are considered stalwarts of hindi film music

Seriously? You mean with that faulty diction/pronounciation of his Hindi words Yesudas sings Rafi songs better than him? You seriously got some problem even if it is your own opinion! Just like Rafi had difficulty in pronouncing Malayalam (someone said in a music show that he rejected "Allavin karunyamillengil bhoomyil"... composed by Baburaj because of this reason) Yesudas's Hindi wasn't smooth at all! Whenever he sang songs in Hindi they all evidently felt like a non-hindi or Urdu speaker singing those songs while Rafi was well versed in both. Similarly Rafi wouldn't be able to perform Yesudas songs well because of the pronounciation issue. And technically both are incomparable! Yesudas himself considers Rafi his favourite and Yesudas too is absolutely ONE of the greatest! So better keep this nonsense to yourself!

വളരെ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട് കേട്ടിരുന്നുപോവും. എന്നാൽ നൗഷാദ് സാറിനെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്ന് കണ്ടത് ഒട്ടും വിചാരിക്കാതെയാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് ഉൾകൊള്ളാൻ ഇച്ചിരി ബുധിമുട്ടുണ്ട്. കാരണം ബോംബെ പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു വൻ നഗരത്തിൽ ഒരപരിചിതനെ വീട്ടിൽ വിളിച്ചു കേറ്റി ഇരിക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞതും ചായ കൊടുത്തതും അങ്ങോട്ട് ഉൾകൊള്ളാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല. ശക്തമായ റെകമെന്റേഷൻ ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരിക്കലും നടക്കാത്ത കാര്യമായിട്ടാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്.

അപശ്രുതി എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് റഫി സാഹിബിൻ്റെ നിഘണ്ടുവിൽ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒന്നാണ്. Rafi studied music with eminent Hindustani singer Chhote Gulam Ali Khan. He eventually came under the tutelage of composer and musical director Feroz Nizami.

റാഫി പറഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ അപശ്രുതി പാടുന്നത് ഇവർക്കു ഇഷ്ടമാണെന്ന് , ജെറിക്കും അങ്ങനെ തോന്നി അല്ലെ ? ആ മനോഹര ശബ്ദം? ദയനീയം ജെറി . റാഫി പാടിയത് അപശ്രുതി ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ അതാണ് ശ്രുതി എന്നെനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു . അദ്ധേഹം ക്ലാസ്സിക്കൽ പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് അറിയാം , പക്ഷേ അദ്ദേഹം പാടിയ അപശ്രുതിക്കു മുകളിൽ ഒരു ശ്രുതി ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല . പിന്നെ പാടുവാനുള്ള കഴിവ് ഒട്ടുമില്ലാത്ത ജെറി പ്ലേബാക്ക് സിങ്ങർ ആകാനുള്ള ആഗ്രഹം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിൽ എവിടെയോ എന്തോ പ്രശനം ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു . സോറി

listen carefully before you make a comment. he did’t say Rafi sab was out of pitch. it was ukase who jokingly said about his own singing. when you say Jerry sir doen’t have any capacity to sing, you are proving that you are an absolute idiot.
