Crews are expecting more resources to help extinguish a Butte County wildfire that spread quickly and forced evacuations. The Apache Fire sparked at 7:21 p.m. at Apache Hill Road and Cresmont Drive, according to Cal Fire. The fire has destroyed two destroyed and left one firefighter injured. Cal Fire clarified the reported firefighter injury stems from sickness more than an injury but did not specify further.
