Pearl Muthu while you are touring weight matters, more weight=more stability. So dominar does the job and rr310 compensates for the weight by its aerodynamic shape.

Agree 100% with all the points of comparison, after hiring both the bikes for a day each and raiding 150 KMs on each occasion. As my needs are 80% city ride and 20% touring, I bought black Dominar 400. Your review was invaluable and I cannot thank you enough!! Please keep up the excellent work. BTW your script/narration/articulation is outstanding and video quality is excellent.

TVS just blurred the line of difference between Indian and Japanese bikes. Looks, feels, thoughtfully designed and bloody good quality than cbr650f.

listen here kid you can't even compare European manufacturers with Japanese, because they are the boss if you're gonna put this noob appache before a honda you're a fool. A bike is not just about design or power it also needs quality. Nu friend bought one of these appache and it faced a exhaust problem which costed him a lot within the first month of purchase. No matter what you do no bikes can ever assure you with refinement like honda so shut it.

@@Nono-ie4ew I am not a TVS fan. In fact I hate their decision to make a RR310. But still the build quality is quite decent for the money we pay and vastly comparable to the R3 or the n300. While the bike was a huge failure, their effort is to be respected.

I am waiting for 2019 Dominar in red paint scheme. I ditched the idea of buying parallel twin super bikes. I don't have to spend too much to have fun. Also nowadays i am getting very less time in weekends to spare for a tour. So dominar is my next bike...I had thought of CBR 250 also but it lags in power. Thanks for the review.

Really nice comparison video...which talks the harsh reality. Apache is a great machine but one thing which I see nobody mentions is...since this is a new bike and Tvs struggling to produce enough bikes..one thing to worry about is availability of spares and service. Selected dealerships with huge waiting periods. If you are touring and something goes wrong with your bike..getting it repaired is definitely going to be a headache. Something which Dominar and Ktm twins won't face because of Bajaj network of service. I loved the Honda Cbr and thought Apache was the upgrade we all were waiting for ..but with so much of waiting period and since I am a touring guy..I finally settled in with the 2018 Duke 390.

I will still prefer RR310 anyday. One who owns an Apache can only understand the might of this machine. While considering for an upgrade from RTR 180, Dominar was not even there in my list because of Bajaj after sale services. TVS offers premium services to RR owners. On road call assist, 24*7 service facility, home pick and drop. Also they organise sponsored rides for all Apache RR owners.

I agree it's all true I drive 310r and domainor but the domainor is much better than 310r but 310r has more God looks moto gp shape and also domainor have 3 type of led lights in its head lamp and the bike domainor is a premium touring bike I drive domainor 4000 km but its just do the best there is no problem any broken part engine heated it's just wow and it's price is so low and the power is just amazing

True dominar is good VFM, but rr310 isn't bad either, considering it's a fully faired bike n the build quality.. Can't be compared to iPhone, which is the benchmark for "overpricing"..

Hi, myself exactly confused on this two bikes.. bs6 Rr310 and bs6D400, my need is ride everywhere city, tour, ladakh Spiti etc, except non required offroad or trail.. as done by offroaders, just only when needed in touring.. In youtube seen many did with RR310. also have such Ground Clearance of 180 whereas D400 only below 160mm.. but its said that we will have very hard time in offroad by rr310.. plz suggest.. no need of dirtbiking , but when in need while ladakh tour or the like.. mileage almst same.. 30kmpl apprx.. in D400 inky 13L tank, and rr310 11L, not very less as compared..
