Nr 4 was very nice and cosy. Can you please tell how rental market is looking now? Me and my bf and our dog Jack Russel, we are moving from NZ to Brisbane in September - October and when you read comments on FB about property market then is very scary. More people than properties to rent. We will try to secure a place from NZ but don't know if possible. Whats your thoughts? Thank you, Maciej

Would you be able to provide an estimated monthly bill for 1 person in Apartment 4. That's the best one I would go for. More facilities but must be balanced with bills tho.

I'll be moving to Brisbane for school soon and I've been looking into apartments. The cost of living in Australia is INSANE! I really don't want to share but again sharing seems like the cheaper option. Worse case scenario I share the first year and save up then move into a 1 bedroom thereafter (God willing 🙏🏾). I don't mind the sizes of the apartments as it would just be me anyway. I love small spaces, they're cosy❤️

All the best with the move and yes cost of living is so high but I guess it’s in relation to the pay scale as well. I hope you enjoy your time here☺️☺️🤸🏾♀️

I'm currently living in brisbane too. I'm looking for a reasonable priced apartment that can also house two kids haha. I have seen a few but I feel like the "photo's" on website's make the photos look bigger than what the apartment really is. Also they are way too high priced for such a small place. :/

Exactly, those photos are sometime very deceptive. That’s why it’s ALWAYS important to physically inspect the property if you can.

Are you renting yourself. I am a single mum looking to find a 2 bedroom for my baby and I but the prices have increased so much. How did you find your apartment and are you working so did it make it easier.

The rental market can be a bit brutal but there is something for everyone depending on proximity to the city centre

Hello Abena! I'll be moving to Brisbane for grad school soon and I was wondering what it's like living there as a black girl? I've heard Brisbane is racist and I wanted to have your feedback. Is it true? Is the city safe for black people? Thank you

i cant speak for your experience since i am white, but my mother is a brown nurse. she says brisbane has been the most accepting community shes been a part of. brisbane is i think the most multicultural city in australia, so i feel like it will be a very comfortable place for you :) best of luck!!
