Hey keep the video coming! This helps me in ways you can't understand, as a refugee of war my mother and I escaped Camboadia back in the 80s and I haven't been back. I long to get back to the motherland. I just need to do it and your video and video like yours is what keeps my dreams on going home one day alive.

Mine too Dianne! But my apartment is $250. If you check out my channel I have another video with a $250 budget, and still another with a $350 budget. You can even find cheaper right now, around $150-175. Best of wishes and we'll see you soon!! x

Hello Julia It is JC or John Chan the fisherman. Love those water buffalo. When I was little boy I remember I enjoyed riding my big water buffalo with big giant horns in the rise field. Then the Khmer rough ruin my child hood. To this day I don't like communist. I will never going to forget my bad experience. I do have many memories about battombong cambodia. Enjoyed watching your video, thank you.

@@shreeraaman1667 hi funny LOL I would say I was 5 to 6 years old in the free world of Cambodia, having a lot of fun. Then the communist took over the country we all have to work very hard, no more fun and almost nothing to eat because the communist trade rice for weapons. Like I said I was 5-6 year old have to work, how about child labor laws. Trauma in my brain. Never going to like the communist. Just my honest opinion, thanks stay happy.

Julia, just recommendation. You should get into design, especially real estate. Why aren't you buying land and building? We have a plot of land in Siem Reap...

Foreigners are not allowed to buy plots of land in Cambodia.

It's very difficult for foreigners to buy land here... Although I could buy an above-ground property relatively easily! I'll need to save money first. ;)

Hi Mark!! This is a super valid question considering I haven't posted in 8 months or so. I intend on making more videos -- I just got really concentrated on Tiktok. $900 is - RIDICULOUS - for the 1st one !!! ---- These $600 - $1200 budgets (?) I initially thought was for a total monthly budget to live on - not just for rent - ONLY !!! ---- Many look to retire in Cambodia - on that total monthly budget - as you likely know ? -- And many live there on $!200 or less !!!

Yes, we certainly know this. Everyone has a different budget. Mine's a lot less at $250 max per month, but some people pay upwards of $1500/month and see it as worth it. To each their own -- I'm simply here to show options! Thanks for watching!

Interesting that you would assume that. There is more than enough money available to you in this world. You just have to unblock it. ;) Also, we were looking for my friend Bill who has worked very hard for his success and most certainly is NOT a trust fund human. It's not so kind to assume. Cheers!
