The apartments in the video are at the 800 to a 1000 euro range, with is at the upper range meeting western standards. Also Burgas is one of the most expensive in Bulgaria.

pretty sure you can land a good apartment for 2/3 of that price. Our apartment is 350 euros incl. utlities. & is 56 sqm.

@@bztravel I am Dutch but living in Cork City in Ireland at the moment. I like to move to Burgas this summer. I have been to Bulgaria a long time ago and loved it. Never made it to Burgas though. But it seems a good combination of city life with access to beach. Great place as a base to travel from. Houses are pretty pricy here. If you are renting you don’t get to choose. You just hope you’ll find something.

its too Funny that you posted this video right now because a) i am looking to buy an apt. in burgas and b) your videos influenced a lot of my decision to choose Burgas for my retirement place 😎. I hope you stay well and healthy and enjoy your time there with your new neighbours. I will be there in August or September maye we can meet for dinner or so.

χαίρετε. είστε γραφείο ενοικίασης και .. @@bztravel Thanks for replying and for the links. Since we are considering relocating there, videos about the practical stuff and how you dealt with it really appeal. Like buying a car, bringing household goods, purchasing real estate, how health insurance works - that kind of thing. Your video about renting an apartment and the food shopping during the pandemic were very useful. Thank you for those! And I am very glad that you continue to love Bulgaria.

Not trying to be mean but you’re mispronouncing Burgas. It should be BOOR-GAS.

Not to be a grammar nazi but English lacks "у"...they don't even have the superior "ж"...

@@hristinannnn4607 hmmm not necessarily true. Every word written with 2 o's (oo) sounds like a bulgarian у.

@@bztravel I am not picking on your pronunciation, I am trying to help you. You're right there is no OO after the B but that is how Bulgarians pronounce it. Just ask anyone. If I moved to Iceland or Bangladesh I would want someone to tell me how to say the name of the city i'm living correctly. If you went to Sofia and you were trying to get back to Burgas, that could come in handy.

@@bztravel It's about the stress. The stress is on the 2nd syllable - BurgAs. I really appreciate your videos! :-) I'm originally from Burgas, spent half of my life in Arizona, and now I'm back in Burgas, so I like sending some of your videos to my friends in the US. Now that the weather is nicer, maybe I'll see you some day by the beach and say Hi.:-)
