This Parisian home is 400 sqft and my friends pay 1150€. In this video we are continuing the tour and seeing more of the home decor. The bedroom tour is quite impressive because of the amount of wonderful clothes that it contains. As I mentioned in Part 1, Marion and Micka are adept of second hand clothes and vintage shopping. Marion shares her favorites and some wisdom such as avoiding waste by only buying what you need. This is also a way to make sure that the person that comes after you will find what they need to.
Marion describes decorating the bedroom as something she did without going from an inspiration like a color or a mood board. She had found a beautiful wooden and leather trunk and created the bedroom around it. The bedroom tour showed us a room that was warm and relaxing centered around comfort and not simply decor.
The living room tour was one of my favorite parts of the Paris Apartment Tour. Marion really did an amazing makeover in the living room to create this space. She explained that since this is where they spent the most time, it was easier to find out what was missing or how it needed to be arranged. The decor in the living room is made of some second hand furniture such as a vintage drawer and mirrors. The couch and the rugs have been bought from mainstream stores and they blend perfectly

The kitties are so cute! Most of the Paris apartment videos I have seen have furniture mostly from Ikea. It's nice to see an apartment with used vintage furniture so exquisitely decorated!

I have watched countless apartment tours… like really. This series is much more original and interesting. It goes beyond showing the place and go into the stories of the objects and the stories of the owners. Marion & Mika have a gorgeous apartment. There is so much personality and conviction! I wish I had this type of taste 😂 I admire their thriftiness and they inspire me to try it out though I agree with Marion that couches and rugs should be bought new especially in Paris :) Can’t wait for the art pieces next week !

I really love watching this series of Parisian apt tour !! very delicate, soothing, and well-made. each single object that Marion and her partner picked up from the vintage shop is absolutely lovely and unique. I personally love shopping sustainably as well. it is not only giving some objects new home & love, but also as the new owner I can really enjoy the history and character of what the object can bring into my lifestyle.

I'm really enjoying this series! It's so interesting to hear the stories behind the different pieces. It brings a richness and depth into the space. Do you think vintage/ second hand furniture changes the energy of a space? Can part of a person's energy be transfered to objects? Looking forward to part 3!

Hi Angela!! You are my favorite because you come through with the questions that need answerssss 😂! I absolutely think that objects absorb energy and although I never thought about it like that maybe that’s part of the reason why I get a bit overwhelmed in vintage shops ! It always felt like a lot but I never too the time to think of why. Now, since we have our toolbox I think it’s more than possible to establish a ritual and clear the energy from objects. Maybe with palo Santo or something similar ? Do you shop vintage ? Thank you for always pushing me to go deeper dear friend ❤️

@@AbraDaGraca The feeling is mutual! Yes maybe in a similar way to how you can clear and reset crystals you can do something similar with other objects. Also maybe it's just another belief that creates a story which shapes reality... I have never shopped vintage but this series has encouraged me to explore my area for cute vintage shops! Thank you for the inspiration.

Do you know of a cheap hotel to stay at.But safe too.I am 71years old.Thanks what ever you can do.

Unfortunately as I live in Paris I don't know much about hotels. I would say to try and stay in an arrondissement (an area) they you feel safe in and maybe look up the hotels+ reviews online.
