Obviously we need oil and gas, but we shouldn't be burning it all when we need it for fertilizers and plastics, especially when we can get most of our grid and transport energy directly from the Sun. Mandating recycling wouldn't be a bad idea either to prevent polluting our own food and skyrocketing cancer rates. As long as the carbon barons are optimizing for profit instead of sustainability, humanity suffers and moves closer to extinction... therefore the Conservatives will need to lose elections from now on until they get their morality strait.
