Just because of my playstyle, im usually always the first player on my team to jump into a fight and my teamates might not always be right next to me so that added range helps me to heal up if i get cracked and my teamates are a little bit far behind me. I also play solo q and you cant always rely on solo q teamates because of the lack of communication so id rather give myself the full shield for longer rather than splitting the duration in half. Its personal preference though, both options are viable and it depends on how you want to play.

Conduits shields are very situational, and using them blindly isn’t optimal in my opinion. There are many times that my teammates are in bad positions or simply come face to face with an entire team, and whether their shields are boosted or not doesn’t change the outcome. If boosting my teammates shields will save them or it prevents their death then I will do so and there were plenty of times where I demonstrated that. I’m very sorry that your experience here on my channel was negative. I thank you for your feedback and will do better next time.
