Hey Mac you forgot the biggest BIGGEST feature! When your teammate goes afk and their character is still present you can command them to STAY,RUN AND BATTLE! which is freaking AWESOME!!!!

Fade pretty sick. I specifically love that he is fast at moving and his finisher animation is quick and snappy. Other characters you feel like "hurry up, im about to get shot" whilst Fade is just like bang and walks away.

The difference between normal apex and mobile apex is that normal apex is made by respawn whilst apex mobile is made by a different studio with support from respawn which is why there are lots of different game modes on mobile compared to normal

I was someone who has mained fade for a decent amount of time, so I'd say for noobs, he's a little hard to play, his passive is only usefully for rotations and an alternative double time, but the rest of his kit will require a lot more skill, as the rewind and void chamber can only make use in certain situations, and overall timing is recommended. But do think he's easy, hard, or too op and needs nerfs, or is lacking and needs buffs, let macro know in the comments.

I agree that Apex PC should get the QoL and small features and game modes that Mobile gets, but I think that having exclusive legends is completely fine to help differentiate the games a little, instead of having Mobile being the exact same but slightly uglier and stiffer.

The lack of legends is annoying, but honestly I mostly play the old school characters anyway so it's not a huge problem for me specifically. Thats probably the biggest drawback besides the many bugs. The audio in this game sucks worse than the main game. I've had many times where I'll randomly hear gunshot sounds from across the map as if they were right next to me. Sometimes I'll randomly hear my teammates audio if they get in a gunfight first. Other than that solid experience: 7/10. Edit: by them I meant my teammates.

I understand that for someone not use to mobile fps the movement and aiming can seem hard at first, but it's actually really cool to master this way of playing. It's totally different than kb&m, went from 2 thumbs to play 4 fingers claw and I gotta tell you it's super satisfying tomake those smooth moves and frags ;)

Their strategy feels like what Riot wanted for Wild Rift. They wanted to make the PC version different from this mobile version. But I'm sure just like Riot, They will slowly add some of the things that is in the mobile version to the PC and vice-versa.

The mobile version is on season 2 and they added rhapsody and she could block enemy view and scans because her ult can block a huge area, also. She can boost her teammates and listen to enemy footsteps better. If you don't have rhapsody on your team, don't worry cause you can go to pythas theatre or something like that to get that free boost from there.

I enjoyed the time I spent on it. The overheating and can be solved by toning the graphics down although lag will still persist on certain parts like upon landing for example. It's best to acknowledge the fact that phones are not desktop PCs with huge fans to help cool the hardware. So avoid complaining about the heating and lagging issues when you're playing the game at settings that puts heavy strain on the hardware. I mean, c'mon, that's just stupid. The touchscreen controls aren't a problem as I can play comfortably with 4 fingers. And as someone who has played Apex main game, it does hold up quite nicely. While some features (bugs) aren't there, I did enjoy it. (I play on a cafe btw... Have not played PC since 2019 and you can blame China for that.) The "Exclusive" Champion is actually just a "Mobile First" Champion so expect Fade to arrive to the main game. The game is also just a "Testing Zone" for features which devs can test if they are passable for the main game... I believe. Gameplay wise; it's fun but, once you reach a certain point, it gets boring. They removed Kings Canyon which was present in the Early Access version. They don't have alot of guns. And there's not alot of champions. Also, for players to be able to obtain champions like Fade, they either have to spend some cash or spend almost week and grind for it. Which is tiring seeing as even the copycat MLBB only requires 3 days of grinding to get a new hero. The lack of content is what makes this game boring in the long run. The maps are small which makes the game feek repetitive after sometime and the lags are persistent on lower end hardware unlike CODM which ran *FAYN* on max settings on my device on BR mode.. The studio also doesn't communicate with the community which does make things hard since, we don't have any news for upcoming updates and teasers. I really did wish for Lightspeed, the studio behind Apex M to have atleast included Kings Canyon upon release. Overall, I had a fun time playing the game. Although I do wish they added more content for longer plays.

as someone who started out on apex with my ipad, it’s sad because i’ve watched apex streams for a while but they didn’t have all the skins, yet they had more options of what mode you wanna play. if people could cross play (like on pc, ipad, phone, etc.) i’d like it a lot more. it honestly feels like like “Apex” and more like “Apex OR Apex mobile.”

fade seems like a legend that would perform much better on pc or console cuz his loadout is much more skill based whereas you could just pull of a 4k and a 20 bomb with octane or bloodhound running around with no care in the world since all of your opponents can't punish your mistakes and compete, fade is a good legend but in the mobile play space it seems like he would have a hard time being on par with some of the front runners

I like that in apex mobile you can use legends you haven't unlocked in the firing range which is something i always wanted in the normal game to make it easier to decide wich legends to unlock after that 20 level grind

It just seems like they're holding back on putting these actually really nice features into the main game because they realized that they're playerbase is not exactly going to explode if they add it and would much rather have people play a separate game for those features to get more players. Like, imagine how revitalized and fun the game could be if they added all this stuff with no hassle required. I played mobile games for most of my life, so im not just a pc master race btw.

Well, I feel like they don’t have to worry SO MUCH about balancing legends and making sure to please the players (including the pros) on the mobile version. Most pros and critics are going to stay on PC version, bc the mobile version isn’t as serious as PC. So maybe that’s why they have more game modes and different legends, it’s just overall more content on a portable device rather than a whole PC/console scale.

The only complaint I have is that after one match my phone is pretty hot 🔥( and fade is so sick, there are datamines that there's a legend in the main game coming with his abilities so don't lose hope)

The Game: 8/10, it has some bugs that I have noticed, like why can’t I buy the Fade skin I have grinded for, LET ME BUY IT. The store is a bit bugged and every so often my game will have a weird bug, but besides al that, good movement, and legend-play. Fade: 7.5/10, just got him yesterday and tried him a lot. His tactical is pretty good, If you know how to use it. His passive is extremely easy, I mean just slide, ya noob. His Ultimate feel a bit hard to use, mainly because it’s active delay. I find it a bit hard to get players in the void. So for noobs I give him a Medium For Noobs. Now what kind of phone are you playing on Macro? I play on a 7 and my phone doesn’t have nearly any lag of overheat. So I’ll catch you later, Ya Noobs.

My only problem with the game is how it's missing some of the legends from the PC version. Instead of having mobile exclusive legends, I'd much rather have legends that are already in the base game. This includes characters like Fuse, Valkyrie, etc. All things considered though, it's probably tough to get all of these characters as a different studio (that has support from Respawn Entertainment) is the one producing the game.

Afaik the mobile version is a good way for them to test out features that might come to the actual apex as there's a wide variety of new players and people who know the ins and outs of apex. They could very well be using this to test features before it's released to the main game or at least have the same concept released in the main game. That will go for heroes too it might be limited to mobile only but it'll really help with concepts in the future of what types of new legends they'll be making. Fade: fades kit look pretty simple but it takes abit of skill to master. His passive (without the perks) just grants him a speed boost sliding is very useful in this game and as i feel it is more fast paced. His tactical is also great it's pretty balance even with perks to it, can be used in a handful of situations to taking angles and then regrouping with your team to making risky plays. His ultimate is abit trickier, it's a very risky but rewarding skill. It takes long to activate and most legends can easily go out of it's range but successfully using it can lead to insane plays like breaking into a building where people are camping a floor being able to aim down sights ready to beam them when they exit the void but this can also affect your team and can give other third parties a very good chance to strike. The game is pretty buggy with auditory bugs of people shooting althoughthe sound is coming from our of bounds and so on. Movement will take alot of time and patience to learn if you're new to mobile battle royale well because it's mobile and it's usually fast paced. I'd give it an 8/10 overall love the graphics. Love the pacing, skins look amazing, loving fade even tho i don't main him and the tdm game modes are so much fun if you just want to step out of the battle royal pacing and move to an even faster paced shooter with the same weapons and abilities

My favourite thing about apex mobile so far is the tdm mode. Literally pick any weapon and practice as much as u want endlessly, which has really helped me with guns like the wingman

I love the exclusive legends! While Fade is quite hard to master, I spent about three days to grind Rhapsody and fell in love with her from the start. She’s basically Lucio from Overwatch and a good counterpick to Bloodhound mains using her ult. I don’t own a PC powerful enough to play the PC (sad because I’ve played since beta on a buddy’s rig) so the only device I could instead was my phone. Definitely enough to scratch the itch.

I’ve barely played Apex (only about 10 total hours on the game) but a Team Deathmatch mode would get someone like me to return to the game and stay for a while. BR just really isn’t my thing anymore with long load times and minimal engagements, but arena shooting modes with endless action will always be a staple in FPS gaming

A team deathmatch would be so awesome for AL! Why isn't this a thing? Imagine a 6 man squad match! That seems like it would be utter chaos with a bunch of different tacts and abilities going off. Also, I don't think this has much to do with gameplay options (such as deathmatches and such), but it's quicker to make models for mobile as they can be much more low res than a model for PC or mobile. But as you said, with the exclusive legends, perhaps they're testing to analyze the pickrate for those legends before they make them available for PC/Console.

Respawn isnt making apex mobile. Another company is. The better features on mobile is made by the other devs, not respawn which kind of shows that the mobile company cares more about apex than respawn :/

Honestly, I was really excited to try Apex mobile and I got it the first day it released on my iPad. So I've avoided all of the overheating and bugginess associated with that. However, I was disappointed by the lack of characters, especially because the characters I used to play on pc-until my laptop wouldn't run the game anymore-weren't in the game. That being said, I've returned to maining Bangalore and I've gotten more used to Mirage, but I still miss Wattson and Horizon, and I can't try any of the other characters I've been wanting to try like Mad Maggie and now Newcastle. I tried loading the game on my laptop again recently and uh... that's a no. Valorant remains the only fps game I can play on my computer at 20 fps, I don't have space on my switch, so I'll try Xbox. But the controller is smth to get used to. Honestly, I'd like to know the roadmap of development and I kinda just hope that mobile becomes more like pc or console with the maps and characters because I miss Apex Legends, and I love that I have the chance to play it again on my iPad which is so much more convenient, but it still feels less than in a way... And okay I get that having exclusive legends is probably good for marketing and convincing people to play, but I would expect that at some point, every platform would have access to all the characters. I hope that that'll be the case anyways...

I'm pretty sure a seperate studio is working on apex mobile so it makes sense that they added other features that aren't in normal apex, also since it's new they added all these feature that were needed in the normal game before release.

It's been known for some time now that APM is actually being developed by the company Tencent. Respawn may provide support possibly but they aren't being pulled in two directions. As for the extra modes and characters, it's them (whether it's Tencent, Respawn or EA) providing a reason to play the game and eventually/hopefully spend money on it. You said it yourself, your phone isn't made to run Apex. That's why there's a huge lack of characters with Wattson, for example, being too buggy in the game's engine to be made playable currently and obviously less characters means a smaller file size. It's also probably why there's only one map too and I would think there aren't things like Tridents or Prowlers/Spiders nests to keep the in-game stuff from being more CPU heavy than it needs to be. I definitely would like more things added to the main versions of the game but I also understand the reasons for them at least currently being mobile exclusive
