The only thing they kept was his crouch and wall climb but the wall climb is improved with more horizontal movement and they add the ability to see enemies at below 40 if he makes the enemies go below 40 he sares the information with his team mates

I think that rev is now a top ten legend. I don’t think he isnt oppressive but he is a formidable character. His passive isn’t just climbing straight up you can zigzag up a building.

His kit is only OP in skilled hands though. Which is to say he's very good now but not OP. All the top ALGS teams have already decided his team utility is too low for comp. He's just a very good solo que legend now. Also, his shadow pounce ability goes as far as an Octane pad if the double jump didn't exist. It can go far, but not that far.

You can combine his leap with other movement tech to go farther tho. Super glide into the leap and you’ll go far. Jump pad into the leap is a good one

His Q jump ability also resets if he gets a knock while in his ULT. Also his 75 extra shield will reset if he doesn’t take damage for a certain amount of time.

Pathy does have a passive. When you inspect the care packages that all Skirmishers can, it instantly refills his ult (like scanning beacons used to), and reduces the refill time permanently for the match. So if Pathy can scan all of the care packages for a match, you can get quite a few ziplines going.

There was a time when Revenant and Octane were a meta pair since jump pads and totems were silent (and not a big beacon in the totem's case) so you could do a crazy surprise attack on people and kill them before they could know what's happening.

This feels alot less impressive than the previous Rev. I've already seen every other player do all the tap strafe leap stuff. This doesn't feel like guapee anymore. His entire branding was climbing around corners. Now he's lost what made his Rev unique

His 1v1 power is incredible, but his main downfall is that he has a very selfish playstyle with almost no team utility (teammates get a ping on low health enemies if rev is the one to get them there.) And that is what balances it out. If they ever brought back solos (they said they wouldn't) he would be the meta easily.

Idea: when you guys are reacting to movement players bring in a 4th person who’s from the apex community to explain/highlight to you what they did because there is so much tech that just flies over your head or you call it something completely different from what it is. I think you’d appreciate and better understand the use of movement tech that these players implement within their games.

Use ult to get extra health and faster ability recharge for some time. Kill enemy in that time, get back extra health. Your team kills an enemy you shot, get back health. WIN!

nah you casuals lol they nerfed octane to stop rev from being useful. octanes pad used to go SO much farther back when rev was heavy meta. it was undeniable that you had to fight anytime you heard an enemy pad near you get hit. and on top of that, they would gibby bubble onto you so your team couldnt help fight off the 3stack diving onto you. it was torture.
