I like how people argue what snowmobile is best. If you are a good rider ANY snowmobile set up correctly will tear up a mountainside. Usually the people who say "insert brand here" sucks are the shitty riders. Apex is beast.

id like to see a 2 stoke run 25 puonds of boost, and create 400 hp, even a turbo 2 cant build that figure. also from experience when you have 400 hp it doesint matter how much heavy you are, no replacement for displacement.

@TheRedSled97 they went to a turbo not a 4 stroke. no naturally aspirated 4 stroke even glimpses 2 stroke power, and no turboed 4 stroke touches a turboed 2 stroke. for instance a turboed 4 stroke with a 300cc displacement advantage has only 6 more horsepower than a 800 2 stroke. add the 100 plus pounds extra and they STILL have less power per KG

Turbo'ed 2 strokes are completely capable of 400hp, there is a turbo'ed vmax-4 that makes over 560hp, and will do over 160MPH in 1000'. That's a fact!

If the Apex rider had balls he would have gone up between the trees where the sled was stuck. Not sure why Yammy turbo riders think the are the sh!t just because they can go straight up any hill. Try riding an Apex or Nytro turbo like Burandt does and I'll give them credit! : )

With yamaha ive only made an acception with the turbo apex. ive tried it before cause my friend owns one. but any other yamaha i been on has got itself added another h and another a Yamahaha

@proxr440mod to say it ONLY has 83 hp is foolish. to imply that it isnt enough.. a can am commander 4 stroke 1000 twin makes the same hp my point was the phazer yamaha 500 4 stroke is impressive. name another 80 plus 500 cc four stroke. and you also cannot to married to the idea of horsepower being the only factor. that engine rev very high and makes gobs of torque. thats the shit that gets you moving.

in Boost 3 a 400hp apex got stuck actually a lot of them got stuck

@january989 watch some of the new 2011 season videos, ie thunderstruck 10, mountain mod mania, all used to run 2 strokes, untill they found a turboed 4 stroke. never went back. 4 stroke power ftw.
