Man I just love that look! You've got me thinking about doing a front mount too. I always worried about the rain when people install them. Glad to know that at least this kit is good to go! Keep the fire content coming my brother! Congrats again on the wedding!

The exhaust note isn’t drowning out the intakes, with valvetronic after 2-3 revs the throttle stays fully open and the valvetronic system starts using throttle input to vary the valve lift for acceleration. So you won’t hear the classic whoosh of the throttle plate opening in any mode but comfort or eco. For best intake noise use eco pro mode.

I wonder why no one just makes a duct that goes there to the factory boxes. something I may experiment with on my F80.

Probably cause the factory boxes are square and doesn’t really clamp up with many pipes, but you definitely could! Lmk how that goes!

Sounds amazing. The gold burnt look is 🔥. Yeah once you get past 4500 k the exhaust out powers the intake noise.

Hi! Installed my front mounted air intakes yesterday and now it is worried when cruising at certain speeds and there is a little more hill on the road so the engine has to work a little more. Then it becomes like small jerks that are only felt without being seen on the tachometer. I have stage2 bm3, do you have the same problem or do you have custom map?

Congrats! The intakes are also top additon 😁One of the best mods I did to my F82, and this time managed to somehow do it before you😅 Induction noise gives a bit of Skyline vibez to the car IMO, really nice addition, you can feel also a slight better pickup of the throttle 🙃 From my experience the sound is the most noticeable between 2-4k RPM when you are on a higher gear, is hard to pick up on camera but on the outside of the car it is really loud in that zone!

Complete agree!!! And thank you brother! I’m surprised it took me this long to install intakes too 😅😂. I always wanted front mounts, but I was just waiting for the right time. Definitely skyline vibes & the butt dyno feels a little bit faster/smoother as well! And yeah 2-4K is def the sweet spot, I find myself just going through those rpm’s only to hear the swoosh and flutter 😂

@@F80Ho That's reasonable, I did the same with postponing an install of the Single Midpipe to enjoy more just the intakes 😅 Now I am wondering if I really need a catback exhaust (smth like mad max) on top of that since this car is my daily and it will definitely hide even more the intakes induction noise 🤔

I don't get it...Why do you open and close valves over phone when you can do it over steering wheel??

I do it mostly to open the valves in comfort mode/eco mode when the car is still warming up to hear the exhaust. And to save a little gas vs sport + mode right away 😂

I think you should put it in other way because the radiator is going to be warmer. I also have an F80 and i think that these type oh admissions are not the best thing to increase the management of the engine

What are these like on cold start as iv been told that the f80 m3 and f82 m4 don’t really like these and struggle with starting, more so when the outsider temps are cold
